- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In general I have one rate, but can give discounts for referrals or in special circumstances (for example, tutoring two students at once or if a family or student is having some economic hardship).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first meeting with a customer is free of charge and is mainly to go over a proposed schedule, pricing and payments and to go over a brief contract that I have students and (if necessary) parents sign so they understand what I provide and what they can expect from me and what their responsibilities are.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A BA with Honors in Chemistry from the University of Oregon and an MS in Inorganic Chemistry from UC Davis.
