What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I wouldn't consider my pricing system particularly complicated, but you can see my fees on my website.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I became a wedding and funeral officiant because, when I was a parish minister those were the events at which I excelled. I discovered I have a real gift for weddings and funerals/memorials...and after leaving parish ministry, decided to put my gift to work.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Your wedding is YOUR day... Make it a celebration...have fun...be serious when necessary. And hire someone (like me) who will connect well with you...who has enough experience at this to function as officiant, wedding-coordinator, music coordinator, anything that is needed on the day of the event.
I guess most of all I'd say "I'm your guy"...well, at least for the wedding and any rehearsal beforehand...
