Ernie was awesome! I had my ceremony on sand island in the columbia. We weren't exactly sure what to expect and just did things at the last minute. When we got to the island we ended up having to take our shoes off and the guys had to roll up their pant to jump into two feet of water. Ernie was a great sport and jumped right in. The ceremony didn't exactly go how I thought it would but Ernie definitely made up for everything m

Tammy was a wonderful addition to the team of caregivers providing support to my father; he was recently diagnosed with stage 4 primary liver cancer and was estimated with 2-4 weeks to live. Since we’ve moved him to hospice, he’s lost strength and become very foggy. Tammy rearrranged her scheduled when we expressed fear that he may not be alive three days from now, showed up to the hospice on time, and my father - in the middle of the session and for the first time in days - opened his eyes wide and introduce himself to her. We will undoubtedly bring her back into our care circle, and can’t express our gratitude for her work enough.

It's been an absolute pleasure working with Scott! From day one he's exhibited professionalism, tremendous energy, and the ability to custom tailor workouts to achieve my noteably aggressive goals. I came to Scott already in good shape having spent a great deal of time in the gym. I was looking to mix things up, and learn new ways to push myself. You can tell how much Scott enjoys what he does. It comes through every day in the gym. He was always eager and excited to throw new challenges my way. His knowledge of health and fitness shined each time he broke down a new exercise for me, walking through the form, the muscles impacted, and the desired result. As someone with a passion for fitness and already solid baseline of knowledge, I was blown away with how much I was able to take away from each session. I can emphatically say that my sessions with Scott were a success! I highly recommend him to folks at any fitness level that are trying achieve new fitness and health goals. Thank you Scott!!

Scott is very down to earth and earnest in his approach to help couples have a happier and healthier relationship. Our first meeting we discussed or goals for therapy and Scott gave my husband and I a run down on his background and experience. Since then we have been working on basic issues such as communication, budgeting and finances, things we value and find important. Overall, I feel this has strengthened our relationship and made it so we appreciate one another more. I'm really glad we found Scott. He's been a great help.

Coach Willis did an amazing job with the team bonding event he held for my varsity girls basketball team. He kept them engaged the whole time and had value with the message he was telling them. The girls were able to open up and feel relaxed around him. They were able to apply his message to their own lives and to their basketball game. The coaches even got involved with the games and activities. I would highly recommend having Coach Willis speak or run a team bonding event. His passion and commitment to the process is undeniable. My girls still ask about him and want him to speak to them again.

I've been a business "solopreneur" for almost a decade, and through the years, as my business has survived the recession + grown, and also with life's changes, my personal goals have changed and my business vision has shifted. In my 8th year in business, I engaged Clearways Coaching services in order to gain clarity and direction in hiring help, and delegating more so that I could focus on business operations and sales. I was burned out and emotionally exhausted from doing it all on my own for so many years, and had trouble seeing how I would be able to make (what felt like) huge changes and see results in a relatively short amount of time. Since that time, David Merino and I have been working together on a bi-weekly basis, and in each session, he starts by asking me to recall my "wins" from the previous week, and determine my agenda for the session. David asks key questions to get me thinking about where I want to put my energy in the coming week, and which resources I'll call upon for help and/or making progress. When I've gotten overwhelmed or blocked, David patiently asks an open question to get me moving again. By creating short term goals and attainable action steps that I can chip away at through the work-week, I'm able to chart small successes along the way and be mindful of my accomplishments, which further spurs me on to the next goal. David's coaching technique has been vital to the growth of my business because I've been able to tap into my power and motivation to try new methods + be intentional about carving my path. If it's not working, we adjust and redirect. I'm proud to say that through working with David, I've faced many fears and pushed my personal + business boundaries. Since 2013, I've contracted an employee to handle social media, blog-writing and project management; created/fine-tuned systems + protocols around sales and new client relationships; and analyzed marketing + sales strategies. If you're clear that you are ready for change, and you're committed to taking action, I highly recommend working with David Merino of Clearways Coaching.

Ben is an incredible trainer! He is extremely attentive to his clients, customizing a program that fits the needs of the individual. He has an holistic approach, integrating nutrition, physical fitness with a focus on the client’s mindset. We were extremely fortunate that he took an interest in David’s welfare, in fact, that was one of our main reasons for moving to Portland from Virginia! I highly recommend Ben to anyone wanting a healthier lifestyle!

I decided to try hypnosis for weight loss at the recommendation of a friend. I was just so tired of trying and failing all the diets and feeling worse and worse about myself. From the first phone call Dale made me feel comfortable and at ease talking about my problems and fears. His sessions were really enlightening. I thought my weight problem was just about bad food choices but he helped me realize it was really emotional. I lost about 50 lbs and more importantly my stress and anxiety got so much better! I had no idea those things were even connected. Now I feel in control of my health and emotions and I feel good in my body. Dale is so professional and explained how everything worked so I could understand. He was also really kind and never made me feel judged. He was easy to work with and I felt right away that he could really understand and could really help me. I highly recommend Dale to anyone whose dealing with weight issues and stress/anxiety.

Mike offered his coaching when I was going through a very challenging time in my life. Divorce. My life was entering new territory, I was a mess, and relations with my kids were not easy. Mike offered advice and thoughts that hit at many levels. From what good growth could come out of the mire to practical advice for being available to my kids. Mike did not sugar-coat things. He has a depth of experience and core of compassion that combine to make him an exceptional life or spiritual coach.

About

With twenty years of experience, I pay a lot of attention to non-verbal as well as verbal communication. This is especially useful in relationship counseling. Non-verbal communication can show sides of ourselves which we may not be aware of but others notice. The good news is that noticing a new side to oneself can lead to welcome change. New sides to oneself can lead the way into change that comes naturally. I notice the difference between change that comes naturally and change that comes with strain. The strain usually isn't sustainable, change that fits one’s nature is. I've taught conflict facilitation in Portland State University's graduate facilitation program. I've spent many years developing attitudes and skills which allow us to work through inner and outer conflict.

About

"Hi! I'm Daniel..." The first thing you should know about me is... I am not a guru. Or an exalted spiritual leader. I'm not a psychologist or psychiatrist. And I don't have a PhD in counseling either. Yet, my entire life I've felt called by something. That call is the desire and gift to help others awaken... to their own natural power to shape and direct the flow of abundance into their lives and the lives of all they touch. And the best part is... When you accept the responsibility to direct that ever present flow... You access what some call "the effortless effort". Meaning abundance flows into your life so powerfully...it would take a conscious effort to stem the flood. "Unfortunate circumstances", "personal injustices" and "negative" anything can become powerless to move you from your peace...with no more power to stop the flow of abundance than trying to block a waterfall with your hand. "Synchronicity", "Fortunate circumstances", and "positive" everything can fill your days with light and abundance flowing to you in startling, delightful, and even delicious ways. If you are hearing the call... and are searching for a compassionate, clear thinking someone to help you re-calibrate your "ears" so you can hear your own inner knowing and reconnect with your natural power...I may be able to help you. I help people... -> Reconnect with inner knowing...the guide that naturally moves you toward your own highest good and magical life -> I help wounded people understand the emotional patterns, reactivity, and relationship dynamics that cause anxiety, insecurity, conflict and lack of direction -> I help people FEEL GOOD again when they can't remember how I also help people... -> Release the flow of abundance and receive a higher quality of life, love, work via "effortless effort" -> Discover and enjoy a fulfilling and amazing life of growth and contribution -> I also help people who seem to be blocked by an invisible force holding them back from achieving their dream goals or career goals...whether those be entrepreneurial, fitness, health or otherwise. The first step is a relaxed chat over phone or skype. I call it an "Insight and Discovery Session". The session typically lasts 60 - 90 minutes. And you can put away your wallet... the session is complimentary. There is no pressure or obligation to hire me. If, at the end of our time together, we mutually feel comfortable and would like to work together, I'll help you create the appropriate coaching package to help get you where you want to go. Either way, I wish for you a life of abundance and light. Looking forward to meeting you! -- Daniel ==================================================================== Some technical "stuff" and obligatory "horn tooting" about how I came to help others... I'm a former student of the school of "hard knocks" and permanent student of life I'm certified by Robbins-Madanes Institute, Strategic Intervention, The National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Sports Fitness Specialist, and Performance Enhancement Specialist ( I work with mind and body since they are inextricably linked) I've coached Olympians, TV stars, Recording Artists, Rock Stars, Politicians, Business Leaders ...and they all have the same issues, hang-ups, insecurities, wrinkles, tics, hopes and fears as everyone else. Often more so. And they also have the same POWERS as everyone else does. Most often they just have figured out how to tap into that abundant flow available to all who want it For the last decade I've been a regular guest on AM Northwest here in Portland... and spent the last 3 of those as the "on-air trainer" appearing on the second Monday of every month. I had my own radio call-in show on Z-100 that was the #1 noon show and ran for 3 years straight. A gave out advice and answered live calls on air. I've been featured in, seen on, or quoted in: USA Today, AM Northwest, FOX, Z-100, ABC, The Oregonian, and Web M.D. All the best in your search. If you'd like to talk, let's connect. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: Although I love working with all sorts of challenges, my scope of practice is not medical. I'm not a psychotherapist or psychiatrist. I don't work with disorders. People who NEED a psychotherapist or psychiatrist have challenges beyond the scope of a Life Coach. If you feel that is you, please seek the help of a medical professional.
