Introduction: If you're looking for someone with the experience to guide you toward moving more freely, feeling confident in your body, and lifting your spirits, I can help. I have more than 30 years of teaching experience with all levels of students in yoga studios and premiere fitness clubs. But I prefer working one-on-one with people where I can adapt each session to their specific needs. Private sessions are good for anyone, but especially beginners, those with specific pain or other health issues and those who have been trying to learn yoga from YouTube.

Wow, what a difference having Anita teach me yoga has made! You gotta know that I am in my mid-60s and have had some health setbacks: cancer and chemotherapy/radiation treatment last year, a leg injury from a car accident, and weight gain. Actually, my sleep medicine doctor recommended yoga to improve my breathing. Because I had enjoyed learning Hatha Yoga in the 1970s (when I could do the Plow Pose), I decided to find a teacher and do one-on-one lessons. Since starting seven weeks ago, I am feeling better, getting stronger, and toning up. My balance and flexibility have improved significantly in this short period of time. Anita tailors the workouts to account for my limitations while pushing me just enough to see improvement. I am awakening muscles that I didn't know I had! Yoga is amazing and Anita really knows her stuff. She is patient and encouraging. I believe that with her help I will regain my health and be better prepared to age gracefully. I highly recommend her for anyone seeking health and well-being.

Anita quickly zeroed in on the issues I needed to work on, which turned to be more than my initial back pain. I began to understand how everything is connected and how I sit, stand, and walk all have a role. While we did some traditional yoga poses, her approach is more comprehensive and has helped me a lot.

With only 6 sessions with Anita, she identified a weakness in my shoulders, developed a program for me, and my flexibility in my shoulder improved substantially.

I appreciate how Anita really gives individual attention to her students - even in a group setting. She changes up the routines, depending on the mood of the group or individual, making each class fun and engaging. I highly, highly recommend Anita as an instructor - you won't be disappointed!

Anita really finds routines that work to your benefit. She works hard to adjust to a person's strengths and weaknesses, and week by week you feel yourself getting stronger and more flexible. For instance I have back issues and she was always cognizant of that during the workout. She is a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend her.
