- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer free estimates for all customers. I offer discounts for veterans. I always try to give the most accurate estimate possible and. write up detailed proposals So the customer knows what they are paying for and what products I'm using. I am willing to work with with people and I'm open to giving customers a few different options to see what best fits
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Diploma, college, apprentice, 20+ yr, continued ed
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It started on new builds as a finish carpenter for another contractor. I knew I enjoyed it and we had a good team atmosphere. I learned how to hang doors interior and exterior and French doors. learned trim. baseboard, underlayment, crown molding, cabinets, countertops, window seals. stairs. And with the system we had we got very fast and very good. We'd come back and install knows. closet shelves clots doors etc. sometimes we'd work for another contractor who dud custom finish work and that was a whole bunch more. then we'd do siding jobs, window jobs. flooring. so it was were it all started. I really enjoyed that work and that's were it started.
