June was awesome! She helped us design all of our flower arrangements because we were pretty clueless as to what we wanted/what would look good. She also gave us advice on how the timeline should look for the wedding day because again we weren't sure what would be best. She worked on a tight schedule the day of the event, decorating both the church and the reception venue and she also let us keep whichever arrangements we wanted following the reception. She even brought the arrangements over the next day because they were loaded into her van by mistake along with some of our decorations. We would highly recommend her!

I highly recommend Rebecca's services. she is personal and professional and can pull of an elegant dinner party or a themed children's party, she even did our Christmas family reunion complete with crafts for the kids. She has great ideas for creative invitations and decorations, she planned activities ("photo booth", karaoke, games) and then she pulls it all together allowing me to spend time enjoy the event and my guests! I highly recommend her services.

There is a time in a woman's life that is the most important day she will experience. A time that she daydreams of her entire life. On September 6th, 2015 Amanda and I both had the most important day of our lives! But every bride knows that it is a whirlwind to actually get to the day of the wedding with all the planning, collecting, and projects it takes to actually pull of the day. Six months before our wedding a perfect gem came into our lives offering to be a day of coordinator for our wedding for learning experience to build her business in the best way possible. Of course we jumped on the offer and met with Vanessa the next week. We had an instant connection with Vanessa and right away she became family to us. She expressed to us right away what she was going to do for us and we all started to plan that night. The first thing that caught my attention was her immediate organizational skills. She wrote down everything we talked about right away and threw in amazing ideas. When Vanessa left that first night Amanda and I felt like we struck gold! As weeks went on Vanessa kept in close contact with us, always asking how we were doing and asking what she could do to help us. Vanessa came out to our house to work on projects with us, to continue planning, and to figure out our venue prospects. When we finally decided on a venue Vanessa was right by our side meeting with the venue managers and coordinators. She asked every question that we didn't think of and she made sure that we got the best deal possible. As the day came closer Vanessa was a constant support system for us and kept us cool and collected as the stress of a wedding came closer. As most wedding do we had a few hiccups with our venue and Vanessa took charge and fixed all the little speed bumps that came our way. At our rehearsal Vanessa came ready to shine with her impeccable organization. She knew what she was doing and kept explaining how the day was going to go to our wedding party. When we left that day we knew exactly how to walk down the isle, where to stand, how to walk out, and had a plan how the rest of the wedding would go. Needless to say we all felt comfortable and ready for the actual event. Of course when Amanda and I went to bed that night we were so ready for our beautiful outdoor dreamy wedding. When we woke up the next morning it was down pouring. As a bride panic set in knowing that our outdoor wedding could become disastrous. Not even a minute later I got a call from Vanessa calming my nervous and telling me she has a plan. Instantly I knew the day was would be perfect. When my side of the bridal party and I showed up to help set up there were beautiful white tents up to cover our guests and us during the wedding. Vanessa made magic happen to make sure our day went perfect. She directed everyone what still needed to be done and we got all decorations and tables set up in a fashionable time! When we all went to take pictures Vanessa stayed and continued to make our venue perfect. When we arrived it was like a fairytale, she put her beautiful touches on everything. When the wedding started she gathered the wedding party and since it was raining we had to change quickly where we were going to stand and Vanessa took charge and quickly made a decision for us. As we started walking down the isle the rain stopped and the sun came out and all I could do is smile because I knew Vanessa must have pulled some strings with the rain Gods because only she could pull off something like that! Needless to say the wedding went perfectly and the reason I know that is because Vanessa was running her butt off to make sure very thing was perfect and even if there problems she didn't let us know about any of them she just took care of it herself. As the night came to an end and we were getting ready for our exit and Vanessa was still in great spirits and ready to make sure the last few minutes were perfect!! As we got into our truck and drove away we noticed that Vanessa had placed all of our gifts and cards into our truck for us to enjoy that night! Vanessa stayed and cleaned the venue and that night dropped off all of our decor and supplies to our house so that we didn't have to worry about anything. Our over all experience with Vanessa was beyond amazing. Not only was she our day of wedding coordinator but now she is and will forever be Auntie Vanessa to our sweet babies!! If you are looking for a dedicated, organized, passionate, loving, creative day of coordinator for your wedding Vanessa Humphrey is the woman for you. She will blow your exceptions out of this world! Vanessa thank you so much for your support and love for weddings because we wouldn't have been able to do half of what we did without you!! We love you to the moon and back!!

McKenzie, the owner of Flowers by McKenzie will go out of her way to get the flowers you want (even if they are out of season). She will work with you until you are happy which is why I give her a 5 star rating. Most florists may tell you know to certain flowers but McKenzie will find a way!

I highly recommend Melissa Rubin for her party planning services. She put together a fabulous graduation party for my son for which we received many compliments. Not being a party planning person myself, I appreciated Melissa’s fresh ideas, attention to detail and take charge attitude. She was very willing to do as much or as little as I needed help with. She has many contacts in the business and her coordination was instrumental to a well-run event. I would not hesitate to work with her again.

Cheryl has been a terrific addition to our Strollathon event. She has a great attitude and is very dependable. She's creative and her balloon creations are beautiful. I've been using her for 6 years now and look forward to many more. I love how I can describe my idea and she comes up with a design that exceeds my expectations. Regan and I cannot thank you enough for all you did to ensure that her wedding was all that she hoped it would be. From the first, when we wanted a simple ceremony with just a few guests followed by cake and champagne with the residents, to the final day, when we had 45 people for the ceremony in the garden, followed by lunch in the Sullivan Theater and then cake and champagne with the residents in the Hemingway Room, you were amazing. Every time we needed help (Referrals for bakeries? Photographers? Hair stylists?), every time we had questions (Can we have flowers delivered to you? Can we add something to the buffet for the kids? Can we play a DVD slideshow at the reception? ), your response was always “no problem, we can do that”. The lunch buffet was delicious and plentiful (SO glad we didn’t cut the whipped potatoes with basil!), the servers were professional, and the transition from one location to the next seamless. And the little touches were so thoughtful (everyone loved the “eat, drink and be married” sign outside the reception!). You made the wedding so easy and so much fun, Melissa. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

A stable wi fi connection would need to be available and since we realize that cannot always be a reliable source for music content it is important to have a large library and your personal playlist with must have songs will be discussed and added prior to your event. If a planner is desired then the initial meeting will be consist of questions, brainstorming and most of all fun. I say that because planning the event does not have to be stressful ..i know easier said than done ;) but moments leading up to the event can be some of the most memorable times. You can be as involved as much or little as you want. Our staff will be what you need. You really only have to show up if you desire. Besides the planning there is the "not as fun" part but that is where you need not worry. Financial, administrative and record keeping is vital to the overall success. Finding the right vendors while staying within your budget codes... planning your wedding or event involves so many aspects and unexpected variables the delicate mediation as the liason between vendors, the clients and guests on day of event requires someone that can handle situations with finesse. Unwanted guests that are invited out of obligation i have heard some stories from brides during planning about the obligatory guest list that includes exes, and the guest they bring along . To avoid risking insults or going off on a tangent i will end it there. My earlier point was what started out as anger or disappointment ended up in laughter. That is part of what i mean about fun planning. However my easy going nature and often times silly sense of humor is all it may take to break the ice with these guests. I listen and observe whether I am there in the shadows or playing your music there will be no awkward silences or guests unsure of what or where to go. Thinking outside the box is a talent that has come in handy. If you prefer something less traditional and more eccentric this applies to your event planning, activities to be included, and a plethora of innovative ideas . Your guests will remember your event. I am able to apply these talents as your planner ,mc, or dj. The main thing you need to know is that i am a devoted employee that holds my ethics in the highest regard. As the client you ultimately call all the shots as i am there only to execute accordingly. On the other hand that can be stressful during the event if the client does not have 100 percent trust in us. We have state of the art dj mixing boards, sound equipment, microphones, fog machines and lights. I can assist in making sure your schedule during the event is on time with announcements. Either way, you will not regret hiring us for planning your event from square one or if you are in need of only an MC or DJ, my easy to fill out questionairres will ensure the right music will be filling the room. As an added service at no charge and upon request have the ability to capture great candid video and stills throughout the evening . We can make it known or be stealthy whatever you wish. Although my personal favorite is the candit shots , especially when guests do not know there is a camera pointed at them. I will take a few short weeks to turn the footage into a professionally editied DVD where i guarantee laughter and tears. The time and effort involved in creating such a visual most find the modest fee to be a small price to pay for memories that cannot be recreated but it is not mandatory and is not intended to take the place of a photographer you may already have but rather compliments like the sprinkles on your sundae. . The bottom line is, I'm there to serve you. There is no need to stress on your big day. Our DJs do more than just play the music. Our planners go above and beyond to find best kept secrets for the perfect venue. I could keep talking because this is simply my passion. When you do what you love then everyone involved will reap the joyous benefits of a happy occasion. My goal is to ensure your event goes off without a hitch.
