My name is Jesse Lee Falls , I am a singer songwriter who has been signed to Bent Beat Productions since July 2012. Dave Beatty and Jozi Bentley have been invaluable team members for my music. Their knowledge of business, marketing and song production has given my music the opportunity to flourish in an industry that seems almost impossible to break into. It has been an absolute pleasure to have people on my side who actually care about my product and is willing to help get the product out on the market. I think most musicians who have recorded an album in a studio are use to the fact that once you have paid the studio for the time and the product there is no more interest in helping get that product out to the masses. It is all left up to the artist or band to push the product themselves. Signing to this publishing deal with Bent Beat was the best thing I could have done for myself and my music because they have a 50% invested interest in my business where as someone who has no invested interest will only do for you what they are contracted to do and nothing more. I think what musicians strive for the most is to be validated by professionals because if the pro's don't believe in your music then whats the point to keep moving forward.

The man knows how to record horns and acoustic instruments. He can do all the electronic stuff too, but he is not put off if your setup doesn't need an input jack ;) If it has to do with recording and studio work he is going to know what you are talking about and how to capture it.

Rikki combines a comfortable, professional atmosphere with a wealth of knowledge and a refreshingly creative approach to being a producer. Highly recommended if you have your music already completely written, or if you have some ideas you want to see materialize into music you will always be proud of.

Elliot is professional and clever when it comes to music and recording. He also listened to me and never tried to control or suppress any of the my artistic thoughts or ideas I brought up during the process. He is fun and comfortable to work with while never compromising your music in sounding the best that it possibly can be.

Audio technician skills on converting a very important interview on three cassette tapes, over 4 hours, into flash drives and CDs. It was an interview I did with my 89 year old fathers on his life on a simme little cassette recorder. Kelsey worked on the parts of the interview where my fathers voice was almost inaudible. He made the whole interview audible and made eight copies for my family ... He did a fantastic job

I have worked with Benard at his home and from hundreds of miles away. I must say both have been great experiences! From recording and/or mixing he has been creative and also receptive to my ideas. He was always on time, speaking of time, your mixing will come back in a matter of days! As far as hip hop goes, in these days versatility is a must and Bernard has that. The quality was always great, that being said I would recommend him for his knowledge, experience, and openness to music of all genres. What could have improved my experience would be a lack of COLD weather in Rochester!

As a one man band, I understand how all parts and pieces of music fit together and what it takes to make them all sound their best. This also allows me to fill in any gaps that are missing in production as well.

    About

At Top Shelf Audio, we work with musicians, not simply for them. We strive to create a collaborative musical environment that takes the imaginative ideas of an artist and translates them to tape. Many times musicians will enter the studio and leave feeling discouraged because their creation did not come out sounding as they had hoped. This isn’t the artist’s fault, but instead the entire team’s. At Top Shelf Audio, we get inside your head and explain what the necessary steps are to craft your desired product. Think of us as your very own production team. We take care of the technical bits so you can focus on the pure creative process. Whether it be recording, mixing, mastering, production, or all of the above, Top Shelf Audio is here to take you to the top of your artistic ability.
