He was able to come out for a quote pretty quickly and gave us a good sense of what to expect. Our project was to remove all grass and weeds from our front yard while using cardboard and mulch instead of that awful weed barrier fabric. We also had him put in a dry creek bed. He started work within a couple weeks and was done in 3 1/2 days. He communicated well, was respectful of existing plants, and gave us the idea to enroll in the backyard habitat certification program as well. We look forward to working with him this fall/winter to fill the spaces with a native pollinator garden!"See more

Rani K. says, "6+ STARS! Juan and Armando did an AMAZING job. I had recently purchased a home with a Japanese Garden that hadn’t been maintained in 1+ years. It was a complete jungle and you couldn’t see any steps. Juan not only provided the best bid but made time to come this week and the two of them worked for almost 10 hours. They hand weeded large areas of the property, trimmed bushes and trees, cleaned up/removed old dead branches and shrubs, shaped the plantings, got rid of ivy that was overtaking huge areas of the yard, AND they helped me to pick a huge bowl of cherries from my own cherry tree. I could not recommend. Will be using them for maintenance and all yard work. Highly recommend."See more

He was pleasant and professional. When Javier and I met the first time, I also spoke with Maria, his wife and co- worker, about the scope of the job and about not using chemicals on the weeds. During that phone conversation, Maria spoke to Javier in Spanish about all my requests. He understood and agreed readily (he speaks some English). It was obvious that he wanted the job and I was happy to hire him. He did excellent weeding work and asked me about how I wanted pruning done (natural shape); after carefully tending to all my plants & shrubs, he put the finishing touches on my landscape, clearing away all the leaves. He quickly provided a price for cleanup and mulch - my yard was extremely overgrown with a lot of weeds. I got two more bids and moved forward with Octavio. He was able to schedule me quickly. Multiple people did the work, it was completed incredibly fast for the amount that needed to be done. They made sure I came out and was happy with the cleanup and weed removal before they added the mulch. The whole process was easy and I definitely made the right choice. They came to work when they said they would, which is no small thing since so many don’t show up on time.
