I had Peter record an instrumental guitar version of Sailing by Christopher Cross. He used three mics and we took about 4 takes. A few days later he emailed me an MP3 of the results and I was amazed at just how good the sound of my guitar was after he worked his magic, highly recommended. One very happy customer.

My experiences with Peter at Spackel Music have all been top-notch. I’ve preformed at several venues he represents or has arranged events at. In each instance where he was the booker, the arrangements were understandable and firm. When he was running an event at which I performed, he was prompt, the equipment was set up and working well, and he managed the sound reinforcement and recording professionally and without drama (this is a big deal). I have benefitted from Peter’s recording of solo and group performances, with even the rough, initial mixes being of much higher quality than I anticipated. I have not yet availed myself of the additional, higher-level mixdowns of performance recordings, but will likely do so (or cut some studio trackers) when the right opportunity presents itself.

Peter is great. He ran sound for our halloween event. He brought his own PA system and ran sound for a punk band, electronic band and DJ set. It all went incredibly smooth.
