Elaine was great! She was prompt at responding to my request and we had a session with her within a week of contact. She was professional and helpful. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their dog's behavior. She got right to the heart of our issues and we saw improvement almost immediately. People who know us and our dogs are commenting they can see the difference. 2 thumbs up!
Sandy was very caring about our dog and extremely knowledgeable about our dog's behavior. She followed up with us after the training session. Would recommend her to everyone.
Janice has an excellent knowledge of dogs and their behavior. My barkers were quickly calmed by her gentle manner, and the most anxious pups were eating out of her hand and doing tricks at her request within the one visit. Changing the behavior of the humans in the household will take a bit longer, but we expect, with consistency of our new system, to be able to improve the behavior of the pack.
We are first time puppy parents and our fur baby is a handful to say the least. When searching for a trainer, Deb immediate won we over by asking to talk via the phone. She breaks it down so we can understand his behavior from a dog's mindset. She is very invested in our mental health and our puppy's overall well being. Highly recommend!
Nico is absolutely incredible. My dog has come so far and truly enjoys his training. I used to pull my hair out over my dogs behavior, but since Nico came along my dog is patient, focused, and always eager to learn something new. I will definitely be continuing to advanced training with Nico.
So glad we hired Anna. She helped us to understand that our dog was anxious, and not aggressive, and gave us invaluable advice on how to work with him and work to break unwanted behaviors. The time she spent with us was informative and enlightening. While we have always tried to be responsible and attentive pet parents, Anna helped us identify areas where we were subconsciously giving our dog the wrong cues, as well as being inconsistent in our day to day expectations of him. Her follow up after the appointment has been thorough and much appreciated. She emailed us the same evening with a run down of all the points we discussed, followed up multiple times in the days following to see how things were going, and offered encouragement and advice. All around a wonderful experience and though it is still early after our appointment, we can already see improvements in our dog's behavior. I look forward to watching not only our pup, but us as parents, grow and learn.
Marion is very knowledge in her skills. She is always very responsive to me and we make our schedules work. You can tell she loves her job and does great work with my dog.
Within one visit there was a significant positive change in my dog's behavior. I know there is still work to do, however, this small change has made a big difference in our lives. I look forward to learning more how to train my dog.
Only had one session so far and we are highly impressed! We learned about our puppy and saw improvements during the first hour. We are excited to continue with our "homework" and look forward to our next session with her.
Steve Commando arrived at my home punctually and got to work providing me the tools to take care of the behavioral issues I was having with my 6 year old beagles. While these tools will take time and effort to fully implement, it was apparent that Steve was an expert on dog behavior and my dogs and I will be happier for it.
We have used Margaret to help acclimate our new rescue pup into our home with our six year old Shih Tzu who is the Queen. From the first visit she offered practical tips on managing the pups behavior. There are four adults living in our house and she was keenly aware of how that might impact the consistency of what we did with our new puppy. Each week she would visit with all four of us and made us feel more comfortable with what we were doing and we could see the progress. It was more like Margaret was at the house visiting and in more of a conversation provided us excellent guidance and feedback and answered all our questions. It never felt that we were at a lesson. She has regular as well as four-legged people skills. We would enthusiastically recommend her!
This is a great company. Very professional and detailed with messages after their visits. I trust them completely. I can tell my dog receives proper care and attention because I see his behavior when I get home is calmer.
Nicole at Bucks Dog Training has shown me that you really can teach huskies to be off the leash and not run. It has allowed me to have freedom. My 2 huskies enjoy their freedom off the leash running while I walk behind them. Nicole not only is a professional she has also become a friend. My pups look forward to going to see her and boarding with her. She is professional, attentitive and has a huge love for animals. If you want great results, Bucks Dog Training is the place to go. You will not be disappointed.
Great experience working with Mr. B! Patient with both my dog and myself, collaborative and professional. Highly recommend!
Professional, Reliable and Incredibly Loving! Karen goes above and beyond every time. All our animals, all seven, absolutely love her. She is consistently respectful of our many pet care wishes. Karen is always flexible, always with a smile and just a real joy to work with. We just love her! The Ruch Family
Shareen was a blessing. My Aunt went into a Senior Care Facility and her pets needed to be taken care of until the family found homes for them. Shareen took care of my Aunt's cats like they were her own and made the transition for them so much easier. They loved her. Any problems that came up, Shareen took care of them. She took care of them for 7 weeks and helped find homes for them. This was a very difficult situation but Shareen's skills as a pet sitter and her love of animals made it work. We could not have done it without her.
If you are like me, I want to know if Bridget Gallagher is good without a lot of words. In short, my wife and I highly recommend Bridget for any issues you may be having. Even if you are not having issues, it was well worth the time to be taught how to handle your dog and to know what works with them. We had Sully doing more after 4 hours than 6 weeks of obedience classes.` Now for those who would like more info. Here is the longer story: We adopted Sully from a breeder in Maryland. We met Sully and his brothers and sisters at the breeder and fell in love. Sully was a very calm 5 ½ month old puppy that played well with his family and enjoyed our touch. His personality fit in perfectly. Sully came home with us and was an angel in the car. We introduced him to others and took him out to stores with no issues except he was shy. After a couple of weeks, he started barking and growing at anyone who came into the house and out in public. Our son, who is attending college, came home for a week and Sully would bark and growl at him every time he saw him. He never really warmed up to our son. This behavior seemed to be getting worse (nipping started) and we wanted to find someone who could help us. We were told he would be okay after going to obedience training which we were doing. The class taught us to give him treats. That never really did work. He would do the commands but it never helped with the barking and growling. I felt he had either a fear of people, lacked confidence or we were not doing something right. I owed several dogs and never had a problem. I reached out to a lot of trainers and dog behaviorists who said that they could help but I had seen mixed reviews with all of them. Some were using a prong collar and tough love. I just did not get a good feeling. I called my vet for a reference (who never got back to me) and others to no avail. I did some other searches and finally found Bridget. We saw her testimonials on line, talked with her on the phone and found other reviews not associated with her web site. My wife and I finally made a decision and had Bridget come to our house. When she arrived, Sully growled and barked at her when she met him outside. The next 4 hours were simple AMAZING. She explained to us what we had to do and how to do it. It was just SO simple. Bridget has a wealth of knowledge and experience with dogs and how and why they behave as they do. She is so committed to helping and educating you so you are able to work with your dogâs behavior problem. She even went with us to 2 pet stores to see strangers so she could show us how to stop the barking and growing and how to introduce him to strangers. By the end of the 4 hours, we had Sully: ⢠Being introduced to strangers with VERY little barking and almost no growling ⢠Staying in place with NO words â just hand motions and body language ⢠Sat at the door and staying there without rushing outside â waited to be told to go out ⢠No jumping or counter surfing Understanding how the dog thought was fantastic and so very cool. Just amazing what she taught us and what she could have us do that worked right away. The next day my wife and I took him separately on walks that met strangers and our training worked. He barked a little but we stepped in to stop the barking before the growling started. He calmed down and was able to greet the stranger with no issues.
My dog responded very well to techniques at Spring Canine Academy

Loving an animal comes naturally for some people. If you have that, caring for an animal will come just as natural.
