FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
By performing continuing field studies with dogs I find there is always something new to learn about animals - their way of life and being. I research all current international animal studies and documentaries.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been rescuing animals since I was a child. Any animal that was in my path that needed help, I rescued. I always had a love for all animals and always found that I shared a special connection with them, especially dogs. I am a strong advocate for the animals. I encourage people to adopt from shelters as astronomical amounts of animals are euthanized each year. Most people are hesitant to adopt from shelters in fear of behavioral problems, but it has been my experience that there are just as many dogs that are raised from puppies that are purchased from either breeders or pet stores that wind up developing the same behavior issues as shelter dogs.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I rehabilitate dogs with aggression, fear, and/or anxiety. I teach people how to control their Unruly dog. I teach people how to properly train their puppies just like their own Mama would train them. I teach people to understand their dogs and how to communicate to them properly in which the dog will learn and respect the rules of the house.
