I was very impressed that even as we were getting bids for the job, Mike was the only contractor on Thumbtack who took the time to speak with me on the phone and in person and ask me exactly what I wanted and carefully explain the different options I had. He was extremely communicative about when he was going to start, available by text to answer my questions before he started, and began the job when he said he would. He and Dennis were friendly and professional, as neat as they could be (considering the messy demolition involved) and responded to our questions throughout and after the job. MJDP was not the least expensive estimate we got (and also not the most expensive), but we felt very comfortable with the price we paid for the professional quality work that was done. They even took the time to fix a couple of broken tiles in some other rooms to save us the hassle of getting another contractor in for a small job. Overall, I'd highly recommend MJDP flooring.
