FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! I am always reading up on vocal pedagogy and using the knowledge I keep acquiring in my daily teaching. In addition, I still take voice and piano lessons myself. As a musician you can never stop growing and maintaining your craft.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I help prepare students for college/university auditions, auditions to performing arts high schools, auditions for PMEA District, Region, and State Chorus. Several of my students have been part of the PMEA choir festivals at the district, region, and state levels and have been accepted to The Lehigh Valley Charter School for the Arts, West Chester University, Muhlenberg, New England Conservatory, and the Manhattan School of Music.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am proud of the work that my students accomplished at The Lesson Center Fest Camp. I directed an acapella group and collaborated with one of my colleagues on creating a finale for the Fest Camp performance. For the first time in the camp's history, there was three part harmony that the vocalists and instrumentalist performed after only 7 days of rehearsals!
