Rob seems to be a jack of all trades who understands how things work and will perform small jobs. He installed adjustable shelving in my pantry and a bedroom closet. There were metal strips with brackets and the laminated shelving had to be custom cut. The pantry was tricky because there was an immoveable bracing board in the back, so each shelf had to have a notch cut into it to fit against the wall. The finished product is exactly what I wanted. The shelves are perfectly level in both the pantry and the closet. He worked very neatly and paid a lot of attention to measuring and cutting. I also hired him to assemble a large desk which I ordered from a catalog. It has five file drawers and a slide-out keyboard holder. He unpacked the boxes and assembled the desk perfectly. He was very careful to ensure that the cherry finish didnt get scratched during assembly. I have also seen some of his other work. He builds cornhole boards and finishes them with custom colors and logos. He creates original signs for basement bars and game rooms using fine hardwoods, hand carving, and a router. He seems to have a real talent for fine woodworking.
Dennis is one of the best Plumbers I've ever meet. He not only tells you what he's doing but he also tells you what went wrong in the first place. And best of yet, his prices are extremely reasonable.
I had my shower curb and niche box repaired. These guys are very professional, honest and did a great job! They don't try to gouge you like most contractors in the DC area. I'll be keeping Beto's number and will go with him for all my future repair/remodeling needs. I Highly recommend!
My goodness! What a great job done for me by JKM Contractors. I could not ask for a more professional team that was fair and reasonable in cost/pricing, on time, prompt, clean, timely, thorough and good. The work as a painter was just the beginning as needed power washing of my home, some general 'honey do' items I could not manage on my own. I would strongly recommend them. You will not go wrong.
Sam has done a variety of jobs for us. Pressure washing, Painting, caulking, Dry Wall repair, carpentry. Every job has exceeded our expectations. Sam shows up on time every day and works a solid 10 hour day. We will continue to use Sam and we highly recommend him.
Eric is accommodating, prompt, professional, and friendly. He installed a sliding shower door. His work is excellent!! We hired Eric for the job when our regular carpenter said it was too difficult and wouldn't touch it.
We were lucky; John showed up promptly, and he was a helpful professional in every respect. After a careful inspection of our existing siding, he asked us what our perceived needs were. We had ben told by two previous contractors that a leak between the attached garage and the house would require removal of all existing siding on the entire house, followed by a Tyvek wrapping. This would be followed by putting new siding, etc. on the entire house. These were both pricey, (15K) proposals, just to fix a targeted small leak. ($$$$$$$) John said that overall, his inspection revealed that our existing siding, etc. looked to be in very good shape, with the exception of that small portion of the exterior wall between the house and garage. Get this; he suggested that the most prudent and cost-effective remedy for this situation was the careful removal of the existing siding only on that wall. The wall would be then wrapping with Tyvek and the original siding would be re-installed. Any siding damaged during removal could be replaced with existing siding taken from a portion of our house that is obscured from view. Cost? less than 10% of the other two estimates ($) How refreshing it was to meet a contractor who is concerned with the actual needs of a customer, rather than making a profit off of an unsuspecting client by charging them for doing extensive, expensive, and unneeded work. If I could give him 6 stars, I would.
Steve performed like a PRO. I couldnt have imagined the removal going any smoother. Thank you again I found a permanent plumber in Hagerstown.
We had a vanity sink, commode and tile repair in our walk in shower completed. The job was completed in a timely manner and William was very friendly and professional.
John does great work! He made two cabinets and a molding for our house that fit perfectly in the rooms. They look great and were completed when he said they would be. I highly recommend John as an excellent carpenter and cabinet maker.
Mark is incredible! I had a plumbing emergency and he was literally here at 6:30 the next morning. I have already hired him again for other home improvement projects.
Excellent carpenter and drywall finisher.
We do most of our work in house so we have tight control of the work schedule and the technicians performing work on the project. We do, at times, use some long time sub contractors for some specialty work and have a good working relationship with them because we pay them on schedule. They also know that they must represent our company with the highest standards of respect for the clients home and for their time and "Space" including communicating with them about the progress/schedule of the project.
The following are serviced: * trim work * baseboard casing * doors * kitchen cabinets * decks * railings * framing * custom woodwork * hardwood floors * crown molding * chair rails
Building and repairing homes are family traditions. My father, grandfather and uncles were all carpenters. From small jobs to big, we can fix it.
