Tom was wonderful to work with and I highly recommend FDF Productions! When a last-minute video shoot came up in PA, we needed a videographer to capture some interviews and b roll for us. I was impressed with FDF's portfolio, and the footage we got back was just what we needed! Tom was very easy to work with, and since he has experience in the industry, I didn't need to spell everything out for him. We were able to coordinate everything quickly from across the country, and the process was so much smoother than if I had flown to the location myself. If you hire FDF, you're not only hiring a great cinematographer, but also a highly competent producer.

Tom was great to work. Arrived early to set up and stayed late to ensure all the footage was captured. He really captured the essence of my husband's 50th Surprise Party which was Mad Men themed. Everyone who's seen the video has been impressed with the quality of the video. Those who were there said it takes them back to the feeling they had when they were at the party and those that weren't there felt like they were by watching the video. Most of all the birthday boy felt like a rockstar watching it. I'd highly recommend FDF Productions for any wedding or special event you want you want to remember forever.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Content creation can be an expensive process but we strive to deliver the highest quality content at a price that fits within a given budget. To facilitate this we work closely with our clients to find an approach that compliments both their creative needs and their budgetary requirements.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first step is to explore and understand the core of a client's content needs and identify the scale of the budget that the client feels comfortable operating within. Some clients have $25,000 to spend, some have $2,500, and others have an even more restricted budget. Once the budget parameters have been identified we are quickly able to outline what scale of production can be achieved not just in the content capture but in the post-production process as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
FDF Productions is run by Tom Fox-Davies, a British filmmaker and musician who has worked in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. Having started as a child actor, he has developed skillsets in the creative processes on both sides of the camera and, prior to founding FDF Productions, he was a partner and Senior Producer for an educationally focused production company handling project budgets between $20,000 and $300,000. Over the years he has played venues internationally as a singer-songwriter and has recorded sessions artists across the U.S.
