Hello! My name is Jen and I have started my business as “Smile! Sparkle! Shine!”. I currently reside in Harrisburg, PA. I am currently servicing Lancaster and Harrisburg counties.
A little about me... I have worked in the hotel industry full-time for 9 years and I have a passion for making things “sparkle and shine”. It is the number one hotel in the area which shows our cleanliness and customer service is top notch. I have started this business on my own for my passion with cleaning and keeping things organized. I enjoy helping others and seeing the outcome of a clean home. I currently offer weekly, bi-weekly, monthly cleanings and one time cleanings!
Fun fact! I am very pet friendly! I love animals and have experience with them as well and would be more than happy to give them some attention while I clean! If you are ever on vacation or need someone to watch your pets, I would be more than happy to do so. I have a long hair tabby cat named Arlo and a ragdoll cat named Bella.
I am an independent owner, so unfortunately I cannot deep clean an entire home. But I am willing to choose one room that needs it the most!
If for any reason you are not satisfied, I will come back and re-clean.

Jen also loves animals and has a pet sitting service. We never ever left our two fur babies overnight let alone for a weekend. We hired Jen in October and we could not have been more pleased. She took fantastic care of our dogs. She spent time with them. She sent us texts and photos of how they were doing while we were gone. We were at peace knowing they were in very good hands. She is a dedicated hard worker and we know she puts the same outstanding efforts into her cleaning business. Can’t wait to have her back. Roseann

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are variable based on driving distance, mileage, gas, time it takes for me to get there, supplies, status of the home and labor. I offer a standard hourly rate of $45/hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process is 1st meeting with the customer either in person or via phone before any cleaning is done to go over what they would like done and any special requests they might have. I will take notes and make sure everything is to their liking and exceeding their expectations. I will ask if they are using their own cleaning products or if they want me to use my own that I supply. The cleaning will be scheduled and I will follow up 48 hours in advance to make sure everything is going as planned. I like to do a run through of the condition of the home prior to accepting the job and leaving a quote. I will write a detailed note when I leave the house and follow up with a text message, phone call or e-mail letting the customer know the job is finished and to ask for feedback.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 9 years of working in housekeeping in the #1 highly-rated choice hotel in the area. I am fully trained on blood-borne pathogens and COVID-19 procedures.
