- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take classes through the Universal Life Seminary and Christian Leaders Institute.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
May 2014, it has been more and more difficult for those couples who do not have a home church, those whose church declines to marry them, or same-sex couples to find an officiant to marry them. Many District Justices no longer perform weddings.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I suggest that engaged couples interview a couple of officiants before they commit to one. Personality of the officiant should mesh with the couple's personality.
