I started speaking to the person at perfectionist contractors in March. During our initial communication he never stated that he had a travel fee. When he showed up to the property he was hostile Our situation at the time was that a buyer I just purchase a house and the window was broken by the seller. We needed to straighten things out and that was conveyed to the representative from perfection as contractors from the beginning. As he got to the property he then stated that I had to pay him $25 for coming out to do the quote. This happened after I told him I had to discuss with the sellers agent about it and see what the seller side wants to do. He gave us a recommendation and told me to order the window from a local window company. Long story short after ordering the window and letting him know I ordered the window the factory shut down and the window took 2 1/2 months to be finalized. He contacted me asking for an update this week and I let him know that after waiting months it would be ready next week and that I would like for him to install it. He berated me and told me that it was my fault for not ordering through him and that I did it all wrong and that’s why it took so long. Meanwhile the company was telling me they were shut down due to Covid restrictions. This morning I asked him if he could come by at any point in the next couple of weeks to check out the window and finally install it. He started to go off about how he needs $100 as a deposit and if he doesn’t get it before he gets there he’s not coming. I called him since this communication was going on via text. He began the phone call by completing an order at a fast food place and a minute in started to yell at me about there not being any miscommunication. I called him just to clear up how he wanted to receive the deposit but instead he started the conversation with fighting me. My buyer had already been wary of him because of how he carried himself initially. I discuss it with him and he eventually just wanted to get the window done. My buyer was expecting the representative a perfectionist contractor to come out tomorrow morning at 9:30 however because of his unprofessionalism he decided that it’s not necessary. I have attached text messages below for anyone’s reference who’s thinking of using him. It is up to you however there has to be better service than this.

Details: 1 window • Won't open or close properly • Double hung (slides up and down) • Residential
