I started to use Fetch Monroeville Pet Care services at the beginning of 2012 for my tomcat. I do travel a lot due to my job nature. My cat's care while I am OOT was in the past a very stressing issue since I found difficult to find reliable and professional services in the cities we lived. When I found about Fetch on Internet (not having any friend here to give me any references about), I was happy that such a service exits (versus private pet sitters) since is hard to give the key of your house to a stranger. After first meeting with Shari, my rest of skepticism disappeared in an instant when I saw how she interacted with my cat, her attention to all my requests and specifics and her dedication. After that Shari helped us more than 5 times for short and long times (longest was 3 weeks) and everything was taken care of like I was home with my cat. My cat is playing with her all the time which speaks for itself. One time we run out of food while I was out and Shari brought food from hers. She aerated the rooms as well and took garbage out. No matter how hard the weather or time in the day and night we needed her she never missed and I got my piece of mind with every day reports about my cat on my cell that she provides. I know that if he needs a doctor she will take him to vet right away. She is now part of our family not only cat sitter. Very responsible and safe. Thank you Shari! I'm a little confused....is this for Shari's service, or Fetch in general? I don't know Shari - but Fetch has been wonderful and consistent in care for my cats. We travel friquently, and I worry about leaving my diabetic cat (and the other 2) when I'm gone. They not only take care of the cats, but for the daily detailed updates I would never know anyone was there when I come home. I've recommended them often, and will keep recommending them!

What types of customers have you worked with?
We provide daily dog walks, pet visits of any kind, overnight care in your home, private boarding in our home. Our sitters are all bonded, insured, background checked, screened and referenced. We also will bring in the mail and newspaper or water flowers, little things around the house while we are there. We run quality control checks on all of our staff to ensure they are doing a great job!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure that your pet sitting service has screened and background checked all of their sitters. Don't just hire one individual, because what if that person had some sort of emergency, then your pets would be unattended to. So, back up sitters are imperative. A company that has quality control checks to make sure the sitters are there is always peace of mind.
