- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I just finished taking a graduate-level course through University of Phoenix online on "Secondary Mathematics Teaching Methods". I received an "A" in the class. I also seek to network with other math teachers, and read about various ideas and developments in my profession.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to get into a profession where I could personally impact kids' lives in a positive way, and help them prepare for their future. Math is an essential skill that is needed in all careers, and if I can instill understanding and confidence in students to help them reach their potential, it's a win-win for me!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I help students who are in a current math class at their school, help them in SAT preparation, or simply bolster their math skills so that they are more confident.
