English Tutor

Introduction: I am an English tutor experienced in teaching ESL, public speaking, reading, writing, and developmental English. I have taught ESL for many years to students from Asia, Africa, South America, Europe and the US. I have taught students from age 5 to 75. They always appreciate what they have learned. A great number of my students have found jobs. Many have graduated from college or university programs. As an editor, I assist authors with self-publishing non-fiction and poetry. I also help with writing resumes and letters. My education includes a BA in English from Yale, an MA in Communication and an MA in Education. I enjoy helping people to feel more confident when they speak or write. Preparing for presentations or exams can be overwhelming, but my students steadily improve their speech, grammar and writing skills. Helping my students succeed is very rewarding for me. I love to meet people from other countries and learn about their cultures. It's a lot of fun.
