Thank you Sally for adding to our wedding the flavor it deserved. I felt very comfortable working with Sally and knew she had everything under control despite the limited time (we booked her last minute) and the laborious dishes we requested. Being a snobby Middle Eastern foodie and a fairly good cook myself (my wife, not me, she wrote this part of review), it was so great to have the taste of food from home which you rarely can find at Middle Eastern restaurants in the US. Sally makes authentic homemade Lebanese food. Everything is made with fresh ingredients from scratch including dough for the börek pastries, the falafel chickpeas mix, baked eggplants for the baba ghanoush and roasted red peppers for the muhammrah. She also makes amazing kibbeh only second to my mom’s:)
Sally accommodated all modifications we asked for and delivered beyond our expectations.
Oh, and did I mention the cake? The wedding cake was beautiful too! We were blown away with the cake décor. Two vanilla and a chocolate layer, buttercream frosting, beautiful blue flowers and initial insignia. Just beautiful!
All our guests were incredibly pleased with the food and we have received many compliments on our choice. Sally is affordable and the food she makes is worth every penny. She can also make non-Middle Eastern food and cater different cuisine varieties. I would recommend Sally to anyone looking to cater for their special occasion, casual event or even a great home-cooked meal!
