He was accommodating, responded quickly to any questions from us after the initial discussion, and unlike my brother in law who was told numerous times including by both my husband and I that all we needed him to do was sit there and record the ceremony in case the video call with my mother in law dropped with whom became very distracting during the ceremony pinging all over for photos. Mr. Hertzler seemed to disappear into the background unless he was having us pose for photos as any good photographer will. The photos themselves were absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t be happier and would hire him again for any event. Highly recommended."See more

I feel so lucky that John responded to my query about a photographer for an informal wedding by the river. He was so experienced and had the best photos I saw of any of the photographers I looked at. Being a photographer myself, I have a high standard. When we talked he was super friendly and also had the best prices which was a real lucky thing since I liked his photos the best and he had so much experience too. I was unable to be at this very special wedding, so John’s photos were my eyes and after seeing them I feel like I was literally there. He captured such joy, love, whimsy, mood, and all in GORGEOUS photos that come alive. The wedding was very small and all of the guests commented on how they hardly knew John was there yet he managed to capture photos that look like he was in the center of everything at all times. We are all tremendously happy with this entire experience and the photos that will form a lifetime of memories for the happy couple and those who love them. Also when I arranged this with John I did not ask or plan on him being able to go to the informal dinner, yet he offered to do so and had a great attitude and presence. Thank you soooooo much John! Working with Matt was the best experience and I honestly don't know what I would or even COULD have changed about working with him. He was open to ideas and feedback, he was genuine and funny, and very non-judgemental and friendly. We were stoked to be his first gay-male couple to shoot, and he made it extremely easy for us. It can be very intimidating as a gay couple to be shot by a straight male, especially for the risqué shots. Admittedly, my partner was a bit nervous and concerned, but Matt is very affirming and comfortable to be around. By the middle of it, we were all laughing and just having a great time. He really cared about capturing us in a good light and in a good pose, which I really appreciated. And what you get for his price is emaculate. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. I would like to say Jeanie did a great job on my wife's surprise party. I held on to the secret for a couple months. I wanted a photographer in the area. And she even came from Allentown to Northeast Philly for the job. And I went on Thumbtack for the first time ever. I haven't even heard about it. But it was easy to use. And user friendly as ever. And Jeanie was the first to respond and told her that. I knew a photographer would take good pictures. But she takes great pictures. My family and friends were very pleased also. When I gave her the opportunity to be the photographer. She sent me a link to her site. When I first went on I saw such great photos. And The weddings we also nice. But then I scrolled down and I saw she was a Cowboys Fan. I said oh no what did I get myself in to. Lol. Eagles Fans and Cowboys Fans don't mesh at all. But I forgave her and she proved me wrong that even Cowboys Fans can take good pictures. Lol whomever is reading this feedback from me please give Jeanie a try because she's one of the best photographers in the business. I will absolutely give her the job on my next big event. We had an excellent experience working with Elizabeth. Honestly, no complaints! Despite the short amount of time between finding her and our wedding date, she made the process pain and stress free. She responded to my inquiry within 24 hours. We talked on the phone a few days later and she emailed some questions. She stayed in touch via email so we were never left wondering, what's next? She sent some samples within a couple of days after the wedding and a few weeks later we had the rest of our photos and they are beautiful! Elizabeth was a pleasure to work with and has such an amazing personality! She took great photos of our ceremony and reception. She captured great candid shots, the guest, the food, the space...we have everything to look back on. Her questionnaire is very thorough so between it and the phone conversation, she knew what we wanted and captured it perfectly. I look at the photos and it's like I'm there in that moment again, they literally bring a huge smile to my face. I couldn't imagine having had this event without her there to capture those cherished moments. You can tell she loves what she does! I definitely recommend hiring Elizabeth Hasier for your next event.
