This guy is dishonest. Dave came out to our house to give a price for installing 5 interior doors. He measured for the doors and he said they were "standard, off the shelf" sizes. We decided instead of paying for him to go get them, we would pick up the doors ourselves. His price wasn't bad and I actually got a good feeling from him so I gave him a $200 deposit. It turned out that our doors are not standard sizes at all. As a matter if fact, the jambs even had to be custom built. When I called him to tell him what happened when we went to pick up the doors, he said he had no problem with returning our deposit. After months of requesting our refund via phone conversations, text messages and finally a letter which included a self addresseed stamped envelope, Dave has still not returned our money. Reported him to Angies List and BBB. Now for a trip to small claims court.
