Hi, I have been teaching for many years. My students have enjoyed taking piano lessons with me. I am supportive and positive and I am flexible with the specific needs of each student. Carol is an excellent teacher combining music theory with practice. I find I am learning quickly due to her professional, thoughtful lessons. And she makes it fun. I highly recommend her

I took beginning ukulele lessons with Carol. I am a 58 year old student who can not read music. Carol was patient, understanding and very encouraging. As a first grade teacher, I plan to play the ukulele in class for our poetry lessons. Carol helped me learn the songs I will use in class and now I feel prepared and ready to shine like a rock star in front of my first graders! I would highly recommend her!

I have been taking lessons with Ms. Sandler since July and can't say enough about her knowledge, patience, and ability as a teacher. At 58, I am a late beginner, and Ms. Sandler is encouraging and generous. I encourage anyone who has always wanted to learn an instrument to consider taking a step into this Musical Journey-you will be rewarded.

I am honestly so thankful to have found such an amazing teacher as Carol. I've always wanted to learn how to play the violin and I have never picked up an instrument in my life. First, I decided to buy a beginner violin and try to teach myself how to play by watching videos on the internet. This did not work for me at all. I was so frustrated that I began to become discouraged. I decided to find a teacher and stumbled upon Carol's profile on Thumbtack. She responded right away and we set up a schedule. I have only had two lessons with her so far, and I already know how to play a few songs. WITH 2 LESSONS! And zero prior experience. She is patient and wonderful at helping you understand everything. She makes it so I am not afraid to make mistakes or ask questions. She makes this learning experience very fun and enjoyable. I look forward to our weekly lessons. I highly recommend Carol as a teacher! :) Very happy student.
