About
The Paul Michael School of Music provides in-home lessons in Philadelphia, South Jersey and the Main Line. Our primary goal is to develop a love of music in our students. We achieve this by teaching students music that they want to learn, which could mean Lizzo or Harry Styles, music from Hamilton, Chopin or Oscar Peterson. Through repertoire our students are excited to practice, they learn to read music, develop technique and musicianship, as well as about music theory to better appreciate what they are playing and hearing.
Our teachers have advanced degrees in music and are able to expertly create arrangements of music catered to you or your child's specific needs, so a piece is not too easy or too hard and sounds great. Check out the Photos section to see videos of what some of our students are playing!

I'm so glad we found this school. David comes to our house once a week and teaches my boys (9 & 13) and they are learning so much, so fast! They are playing by ear and reading music. David is so professional and works with each of them at their levels. There are always "duet" moments where he plays along with the kids. I honestly couldn't be happier.

It's been awesome so far. My teacher was really thoughtful of what I wanted to learn and really tried to not waste any time. I'm also thankful that the school matched me with a teacher that really fit my interest. So far so good!

We are loving our experience! They took the time to consider who would be a good match for our son and have been coming each week. My son looks forward to Mr. Andrew coming over
