Hired on Thumbtack

I hired Edy Services to do several jobs on our property. He replied to my job list quickly and drove 90 minutes the same day to give me pricing. I had bought that was outstanding.
Edy has a lady that works with him. They both work very hard and stay on the work for hours.
Quality of the work was very good. Rebuilt and painted a small set of wood steps. Sanders and painted iron handrails. Painted trim work around the porch and outside entry to the pool building. Cleaned up two storage areas.
The language barrier requires some patience but we managed just fine.
I’m meeting him again in a couple days for some other small jobs. If his price is good, I’ll definitely give Edy the work.

He was polite and completed the job well. However he claimed it took longer than he thought it would and charged me over four times his original estimate.

He was very good at getting the job done after we got past the language difference. We got past it and everything turned out very well. He was able to fix it this very first visit.
