Local Moving (under 50 miles)
The day of the move one of the bellhops didn't show up. My sister and I did our best to assist in moving the heavy furniture while we waiting for them to try and find someone else. They did an hour and a half later. He helped move one item. They wanted to charge me for 1hr 45 of the one persons time and a whole hour for the other. After I complained they charged me only for 30 minutes (instead of the hour) and they refunded me $20 for the person who was there 1 hour and 45 minutes (originally 70). I am happy they basically made up for the cost... but what about the extra hour that put me behind schedule. What about the unprofessionalism, stress and inconvenience of having someone just not show up? This was supposed to make things go by a lot smoother and it did quite the opposite. I want to mention that the two gentleman that helped us were FANTASTIC. The 1st one to get there was a problem solver and did his absolute best to find someone to help us. He was extremely apologetic, and very friendly and patient while my sister and I ATTEMPTED to help him move heavy furniture. The ONLY reason the bellhops are getting an average review is because of him... I still will never use the services again.Jul 20, 2016VerifiedBellhops Moving (Philadelphia, PA)'s reply
Hey AJ, I am so sorry about your experience with us, and that one of our bellhops did not show up. It is totally unprofessional and unacceptable that they did this, and it does not sit well with us. We know that you depend on the people that you hire to help, and we hold our bellhops to high standards. It is not ok when situations like this occur. I have made sure that our bellhop quality manager is aware of this behavior, so he can review it and take the appropriate action. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

Kyle J. and Stargell W. were great! They were both very accommodating and considerate with me throughout the move, and I really appreciated all of their work in getting my furniture to the second floor. I would hire Bellhops again!Sep 1, 2019VerifiedBellhops Moving (Philadelphia, PA)'s reply

The young men were pleasant and professional. They evaluated the items to be moved and then systematically began the process of moving and loading the truck. The whole process was done in an expedient manner. I would recommend Bellhops. Thank You!May 15, 2016VerifiedBellhops Moving (Philadelphia, PA)'s reply
Thank you so much for the review Henry! We loved moving you and we would love to do it again anytime in the future!
Avoid, cancelled my scheduled move the night before . Offered to reschedule 4 days later. This cost me a lot of time and money. *UPDATE* Bellhops called me and apologized. They sent me a $200 check toward my move with another company. While they could not control the crew not showing up, they went above and beyond in customer service. I would consider them for my next move.Jun 5, 2019Review from GoogleBellhops Moving (Philadelphia, PA)'s reply
