- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Keep It Moving offers Professional Moving Services at a discounted rate exclusively for our Thumbtack customers. If you are moving within 40 miles of your origin we will charge you by an hourly rate. In most cases there is also a Trip Charge incurred which covers the vehicle, our crews travel time to and from your project and all travel cost such as fuel and tolls. All of our rates for all services INCLUDE Furniture Assembly and Disassembly, Furniture Wrapping, (Moving Blankets (Full Service Moving and Delivery Only)), and we bring our own tools. If you are moving Long Distance we charge based on several factors such as the weight of your shipment, the distance, the amount of flights between both locations if no elevator is available, and travel cost. Our trucks are weighed prior to loading your shipment and immediately after we are loaded with your shipment. Final cost is based on the final weight of your shipment. In all of our pricing structure we tend to estimate at a higher cost. Most companies will give you the lowest cost up front and then inflate the cost at the end of the move. Keep It Moving does not participate in this sort of behavior. Most often our prices come in lower than our estimates.
