Hello all.. Gale Family Catering is our new venture as a family into the Catering world. Myself being the owner and executive chef I have over 20 years in fine dining and food preparation in some of the best restaurants in the Tri State Area. Creating this business is just a culmination of the work and knowledge I've accrued over the past 20 plus years to know turn this into a Family business. Going forward we will excel in making delicious food and providing customer service that is second to none. I can't wait to show you what Gale Family Catering is about!

It’s a little tough me for me to write reviews because I do not like to share my secrets.. lol. I can not recommend Gale Family Catering enough. John catered my son’s high school graduation dinner party last night. My son requested a southern cuisine and John rose to the occasion. His sample platters were so good he was hired in my head just after a few bites. He showed up on time, well prepared, cooked the fried chicken & fried fish at my house so it could be fresh for 30+ guests and served my family with a sincere smile. I NEVER received that many food compliments and I still have family members raving about the food. Do yourself a favor and stop scrolling and hire Gale Family Catering!!
P.S. He’s versatile and can easily do other cuisines as well. I’m already thinking of my next event so I can hire his company.

I hired Gale Family Catering for my dad’s 80th birthday pool party for about 50-60 people. My husband and I usually cook for all of our family events but wanted to eliminate the stress and work with preparing to feed so many people. Our concern was whether the food would be as good as what our family and friends are accustomed to with any of our parties. It was the best decision ever! John was very easy to work with and extremely responsive throughout the process. He listened well and came up with a great menu that met our needs. Our menu included ribs, chicken, hamburgers, hot sausages, fried fish, seafood salad , fruit tray, veggie tray collard greens, corn on the cob, black-eyed peas and macaroni and cheese. All of the food was delicious. John and his family setup, served, and cleaned up at the end. What a fantastic feeling to see my kitchen spotless with nothing to do on my part at the end of the night. I would highly recommend Gale Family Catering!! Thanks John for everything!!

John created a phenomenal experience for both me and my girlfriend for her bday. John was very responsive and easy to work with. He provided me with a multiple cuisines and multiple meals. And he offered the option of configuring meals. He constantly kept in touch until the day of the scheduled service. John and his sous chef had the food prepared at the scheduled time we had confirmed when we began planning the day weeks prior. They were also both polite and kind. The food was amazing as well. Both my girlfriend and I had empty plates after each serving. If you want a great experience, John provides an A+ service.

I chose Elite Flavors Catering for not one but 2 of my special events recently and I was beyond amazed with the service both times! One was a birthday and the other was a mother's day dinner. My experience was super pleasant from contract signing to clean up. The dishes were amazing and Chef John and his staff were so accommodating and friendly the whole way through. Definently booking them again in the future!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Clients should know that we are not a company that focuses on giving you the cheapest price. we are fair with pricing but we use high end ingredients and have to account for that in pricing. we are a company that pride itself on using the best of the best so we can be the best of the best
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically we set some time for a phone call to discuss your needs for service... from that point we would create a mock menu and a price estimate. The mock menu gives you an abundance of choices you would go through the mock menu and pick the choices that best fit your taste buds. once locked in we would send a contract via email or meet face to face. we would secure a deposit ( size of deposit depends on size of event) and sign contract and at that point you are officially booked with the company.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years experience working in restaurants all over the tri state area. I've also catered hundreds of events on my own leading the way and feel very comfortable with the expectations of what our clients will look for going forward
