We had Lumumba prepare a NYE dinner for 6. The food was excellent, Lumumba was personable and professional. When he left the kitchen was spotless. We had a great time and will definitely plan on having Lumumba back for future dinner events.

Chef L was awesome to work with! I was planning a special dinner for my boyfriend’s birthday. I started working with Chef L a few months prior. This was my first time hiring a personal chef, but Chef L answered all my questions and planned out an incredible 3 course with dessert menu. My boyfriend and I had the best, most unique date night ever! I would definitely recommend Chef L for any personal chef service!

Chef Lumamba prepared an excellent Thanksgiving dinner for my family. We had about 25 people with kids and he managed to cook for everyone including vegetarian members of the family. His crew were very friendly and courteous. We had asked for server services and both servers were working hard making sure everything is going the way we expected. I will highly recommend Starving chef services for your events.

Chef L's service is amazing! He's so great at partnering with the vision for your event. Our team meeting location had a wonderful kitchen for him to create our breakfast and lunch. The meals were incredible - absolutely delicious! Beautiful presentations prepared with quality ingredients. His warm, genuine engagement with our guests was such a plus.
