Glenn removed some plywood from a floor in my house and hauled away another demo'd floor. He took the time to help pull some tricky plywood from my stairs at no charge. He took care not to damage any walls or floors. His pricing was fair, he was on time, and he was easy to communicate with.

Hire Dan, you will not be disappointed! I could not be more pleased with the quality of work and how pleasant and easy to work with Dan is. I found him very knowledgeable and competent about what he does. He arrived as he said he would, and completed the job quickly and efficiently in the time estimated. His quote was also right on. I am busy making a list to have him come back and do some more work in the house. Dan remodeled a small bedroom to be use as an office. He changed it from a deep color to a fresh light peach and blue. He took the needed steps to get a smooth, even coverage. He added a room fan, where there was no fixture, removed wall-to-wall carpet, and installed a laminate wood floor. He was careful to cover the entryway and stairs as they were going in and out in “the winter weather”. He accommodated a couple of unexpected little extra things that came up while he was here. I really am loving my new room and will continue to hire Dan as needs arise.

After consulting with us, Tom and his crew were able to effect some tricky repairs to our deck support posts. The newly braced supports are blended into the power washed and stained deck that TAF had to do over several rain delays to insure a good final finish. And as I'm am writing this Mr Falcone has called me to make sure we were satisfied with the work and made recommendations about moving our outdoor furniture back onto the deck. Professionals.

We used Padilla Home Improvement for some handyman services around the house to get ready to sell our home. Emilio was prompt and professional both when coming to provide a quote and when beginning work. He came to provide a quote within 1-2 days of me contacting him here on thumbtack and began work a few days later. He completed everything I requested of him and then some. Some things he did for us I include: installing a railing to the basement and second floor, fixing and replacing a light fixture, waterproofing a cellar wall, painting and improvements on our deck, and installing smoke detectors. He worked quickly and provided high quality service. I will be recommending him to anyone who mentions to me they are looking for handyman services and also we will absolutely contact him again if we need more services during this transition!

Needing a railing done on a rental property out of state, I contacted Bulletproof Welding. After some price comparisons he was right in line with the other quotes I received. It was his responsiveness and professionalism that got him the job. He kept me up to date with where he was in the process and when the new railings would be installed, When his worker called out the day they were to be installed, he went out there himself the next day (Saturday) and installed them himself sending me picks of the installation afterwards. Went down the following week to see first hand and he did a great job. Even reinstalled the hanging basket and solar lights. Thanks!

Pete was very professional and was all about the form and function of the project. He understood that I didn't just want a stair railing, but that I needed the railing to flow perfectly with the style of my house as well as be crazy sturdy. He was all about the detail I put into designing and building our house and made sure the railing fit perfectly. He was very up front with me on the cost, the work and what needed to be done. A few little dings here and there in the drywall, but nothing I couldn't fix with light spackling. We get compliments every time someone new sees our house and the stair railing. It's stunning. It's exactly what I had wanted and it's a great investment.

Will's Home Remodeling was the general contractor for my major residential renovation at 183Jordan Road in Somers Point NJ. The project took about 4 months to complete where we completely gutted and renovated this badly damaged home that sat vacant for over 5 years. This was a $100k+ renovation for total labor and materials and Will and his team were the glue that kept the project on track and within budget. Will and his team personally completed all new vinyl siding, all new windows, new roofing, new gutters, new insulation, several new walls, stucco and cement repair, new stair steps, bathroom and shower and back splash and accent tile work, kitchen cabinet installation, wall board, spackling, caulking, trim work, door frames, shower doors and many miscellaneous requests. Will partnered well with some challenging subcontractors in the areas of plumbing, electrical, outside concrete, flooring and granite counter top installation. When the other subcontractors dropped the ball, Will was always there with a creative solution and to help get them back on task. I would definitely hire Wills Home Remodeling for my next project.

Chris assembled an Ikea canopy bed for me and I would highly recommend his services to others. He assembled my bed within less than an hour and he also helped me with a problem I was having with connecting my television to its stand. He connected it using his own tools and screws totally free of charge. He was friendly and quite courteous, which was greatly appreciated. In fact, I plan on using him for several future projects within the next few months. Thanks, Chris for providing great service! Kim

We just had our driveway and sidewalk up to our door replaced by General Moore Contractors LLC. We could honestly not be any happier. Gary was a pleasure to deal with, and his workers were an outstanding group. Gary and his crew worked right through the horribly HOT and HUMID weather on Thursday to stay on schedule and complete the job exactly as promised. Really could not ask for anything more. Timely, professional, highly skilled, just an all around great experience. Gary will go that extra mile to make sure you are more than satisfied with your project. Highly recommend Gary and General Moore Contractors for anyone's concrete work. Wish there was a SIXTH STAR to rate these guys.

The job we had for TTT was removal of an existing tile floor in our entryway and laundry room as several tiles had cracked. Mr Jensen was not only quick to respond to my inquiry, he arrived when he said he would, gave us a quick quote and competed the work when he said he would that also matched our small time window. The work was completed as promised and he came up with a clever solution that should eliminate cracks in the future due to settling as well. We will definitely use his services should any need arise!

Mark fixed a leak in a bathroom sink, cleaned out four bathroom pvc pipes, and installed a new Moen kitchen faucet...and only charged $40.00. He charges no service call fee. We have him scheduled to do plumbing work in our other home. We are very pleased with his work, his pricing, and his friendly way.

Basement remodeling for dog's room. Rate overall experience ?????????? Our dog (pembroke welsh corgi) loves to run around in the house, chew walls and also shed a lot. We decided to turn our basement into the dogs room. The project includes: cutting old concrete, painting the floor, plumbing, instaling lights and fan, covering walls with "dogs prove material", instaling sink, making removable boxes to cover some area, insulation to hold noise, instaling removable gates for dogs. We received many quotes from contractors. We decided to hire tony because he listened to what we want and showed us that he cares about my dogs. He is very pleasant to work with from pricing, scheduling, choosing materials, colors, ideas, etc. He is open to any suggestion on what we can do to make it better or spend less $$ on this and that. We name it, he will make it happened. We are very happy with his work. He cleaned up before he left every time he did any works(thumbs up). He also helped us patching the walls that were chewed up by our dogs (was not in the project list). We are glad we met him and hired him for the project. We will definetely hire him for future project. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

During the past year we have been using the services of “Signature Floors & More ” for our needs on remodeling, renovation and various construction projects in our home. In our past experience of using other contractors for various construction projects “Signature Floors & More” stand high above the crowd for many reasons. Their ACTUAL attention to every detail from quote to the finished product is a breath of fresh air. Having your contractor listen to what the customer actually wants, and be able to make suggestions that may benefit the customer is something not too common these days. If you are a novice or an experienced home handyman, Steve will adapt his approach to fit your comfort level at every step in the process. I am not one to publicly recommend (or not) anyone or any company on the internet these days as anything you write is "permanent" and can do great good or great harm for a business. In this case I am making an exception due to the rare quality and honesty of Steve and "Signature Floors & More" and therefore would not hesitate to recommend his team to anyone who wants superior quality and attention to your needs.” Steve in Voorhees, NJ (Customer)

We hired Pinoworks to totally renovate a highly dated 3bedroom/2bath condo. Mr. Pino helped from the visonary stages to the smallest details of design. He opened up an alley kitchen into a countertop seating arrangement. He installed all new countertops and marble window sills. He replaced all the woodwork around the doors and floor molding. He installed new hardwood flooring, bathroom vanities and plumbing. He was flexible to work with my ideas and he was equally creative about offering new ideas. He meticulously painted the entire condo. He worked at a very timely manner, his quote was very reasonable and he cleaned up his work space and cared for the furniture daily. I recommended him to many friends who were also pleased with his work.

Harry was very professional and had great prices. My mother's fence needed to either be replaced or repaired. We looked at replacing it with other vendors, but after meeting with Harry was sure he could repair, prime and paint the existing fence. Harry along with his wife spent several days working on the fence and did an excellent job. My mother is extremely happy with his work quality. There were a few challenges with repairing the fence and Harry worked through every hurdle. We are very satisfied with his work and would highly recommend him.

Tom was both responsive to and flexible with me regarding my project. Because I ended up providing the paint for the job (the cost of which had been included in his estimate), he graciously helped me with a small repair job unrelated to the project he was hired for, and called it square. He was thoughtful about what it would take to get the job done, beyond simply constructing the shelves he was contracted for—ensuring we'd be able to get the pre-built shelves up our narrow staircase before committing to build them in one piece; noting where trim would have to be altered, finding out of we had remnants of that trim on-hand to complete the job with (fortunately, we did) rather than just assuming we didn't and purchasing new as-close-as-he-could-find-to-matching materials; adding a central row of shelf supports at my request when I expressed concern about the potential bowing of the long, thin shelves over time due to the weight I expected the shelves to carry; working carefully within a somewhat confined space to avoid causing peripheral damage. The installation was prompt and professional. I'm no expert in the average price of hiring a personal contractor for a small job, but his price seemed fair, and workmanship commendable.

We hired Carroll Construction to build a rear deck (32X17 with 2 sets of stairs) attached to my house. Mike (owner) and his crew are professionals who demonstrated great craftsmanship, tended to the details and displayed friendly/courteous manners at all times. The quality of their work is excellent and the cost was minimal. Mike carried out the contractual terms to the best he could and took full charge of the project from the permit to the final approval including design, paperwork, planning, materials, and schedule. After all, he wants to make sure his customers are happy. The ways in which Mike and his crew handled the project and treated the customers were outstanding. We would highly recommend Mike Carroll without reservation. We have only experiences with him to have our deck built, but are planning to hire him for a finished basement. By the way, we suggest to those who made negative comments about Mike Carroll (see below) that their complaints should be more specific about the job performed. We found it very strange that their harsh comments don’t even include the description of the disapproving work. We also like to mention that we do not have any personal or business relationships with Mike or his company other than the recent deck project. Mickey and Ann - Columbus, NJ

Anthony hasn't started the installation of the wood floor yet. But he was extremely helpful in selecting the type of floor I can have. Anthony is very detailed in his explanation of any type of work he is going to do and ensures the customer is understanding it and agrees with it. The labor cost to install the floor may be somewhat standard compared to others, but Anthony saved me a significant amount of money in changing some products to a lesser rating when it would have no affect on the project. He is highly knowledgable of his skills and the products needed. Anthony is also dependable, on time, follows up, and keeps the customer informed of the slightest changes. I was impressed enough to ask Anthony to do other jobs in my condo. If the result of Anthony's work is like his service to date, it will be excellent.

It was a very lucky day in my ocean city life when I met Justin Carr (Build Enterprises). He is a gentleman, courteous, and most dedicated worker. Not only did he do a great job on my fiberglass railings and floor, he also completed a whole new boardwalk in front of my home. In addition, he is always there for me when I need him. I have rated him “Outstanding” in service and you will do so if you hire him. I will always refer to him as a “Keeper”.
