Introduction: I'm a neuroscientist by training (UPenn 2007), and have been teaching and tutoring for over 10 years. My expertise is primarily in ACT/SAT/AP prep as well as academic tutoring for math and science at all levels. The rate is generally $200/hr for academic tutoring and $250/hr for test prep, but negotiable based on hours needed and particular circumstances. My high school students have seen significant improvement in test scores and grades, and have grown as successful students. I like to focus on developing lasting skills that continue to pay off well into the future. I'm happy to work online or in person depending on location.

Hemal (Dr. Pathak) raised my daughter's overall ACT score by 9 points (26 to 35). He was always on time and very quick to respond by text. We really appreciated the work he put in and of course the results at the end. It made a big difference in terms of what colleges to choose.
