- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A first session should be both informal, so we can both be at ease and get to know each other, but also formal, because we want to get things done! I need to get an overall picture of your situation before I can counsel or recommend anything... that usually takes 10 minutes or less... then we get into specific problems and strategies, often focusing on your immediate practical issues. At the end of the session I'll ask for feedback and you should have a real sense of initial progress. Everyone gets homework of some kind... after all, what happens BETWEEN sessions in more important than the sessions themselves.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
See my introduction for credentials and counseling / teaching experience... I can provide more details on other LIFE EXPERIENCE: travel to India, South America, etc... exposure to different / indigenous cultures; hospice work, wilderness survival courses, spiritual seeking in Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Sufi/Muslim and Christian environments; was an entertainer (juggler) in small circuses for my first few years out of college, still do charity gigs sometimes. And throughout most of that, 35 years of tracking and understanding my dreams, which have provided lots of guidance.
