Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Performing is my first love. I've been performing professionally for about 22 years. As a solo artist, my main instrument is my voice. I can sing and accompany myself on the keyboard (my instrument of choice), guitar or bass guitar and I can also sing with a band. I also offer music lessons for beginners and intermediate students. Each course is tailor-made for the individual student. The way I relate to each person is based on their personality their goals and their way of learning. What has really helped me in this is that I have had the opportunity to deal with people of many nationalities and have performed and taught internationally for almost 20 years. What contributed most to my development as a teacher is the time I spent (approx. 12 years) training under my Father the late Dr. Stanley Lowe (founder of Stan Lowe Voice and Culture). He specialized in solving difficult cases with students other teachers and professionals considered impossible. I love interacting with people of all backgrounds and ages. It is wonderful to see the joy on peoples faces when they accomplish the goals they set and get solutions and answers to questions that they were unable to get on their own.

Mr. Lowe has been in the music industry for many years and has a wonderful gift enabling him to perform as a professional singer, song writer; guitar (bass, acustic,& electric) player and teacher; lecturer. I've had the opportunity to assist him during a few of his performances as needed. I am continually impressed with his professionalism and easy rapport, in dealing with customers, fellow musicians, and people of all ages and backgrounds. He is punctual, always leaving enough time for the unexpected. He gives quality service, consistently, and goes the extra mile to make sure that he doesn't impose on others. During the times that I was with him, everyone expressed their appreciation for his music performances and lectures. He has been a mentor and teacher to my sons who are teens and they have truly blossomed in musicianship under his tutelage. I have not experienced anything going wrong, becuase he prepares ahead of time and has alternative plans in case someting does go wrong. I would encourage him to continue expanding his services because he has a lot to offer.

My experience working with Clifford Lowe was during a music concert he was giving. It was very favorable. Clifford Lowe was very organized and efficient in the way he was preparing for the performance. I could see that Clifford Lowe was gifted and had years of performance experience. I was impressed with the variety of music Clifford Lowe played and sang, the effortless way he prepared everything necessary for a smooth and successful performance. Clifford Lowe made sure that every detail was taken care of so that his audience had a memorable, exciting evening. I would recommend Clifford Lowe to any organization that Is looking for a musician who is reliable, and has a reputation for bringing quality, efficiency and excellence to his performances.

I am currently one of Mr Lowe students. Mr Lowe is a great music teacher. He not only knows a variety of music from different genres he knows a lot of music theory that goes behind it. His teaching style is very adaptive, forward thinking, and relatable. For example,If you are struggling with a particular song or a section of a song, he will break that song down and see where the problem is. If it's the technique you will work on that if its you not grasping a not or the process you will work on it until you get it right. He's a great teacher in he doesn't want you developing bad habits that will prevent you from moving on to the next level. He also not only talks about how but the why he wants you to learn certain techniques. Mr Lowe is also a wonderful teacher because he eventually wants you to develop your own style wants you learn the foundation of your instrument first. I would recommend Mr Lowe to anybody of any age who wants to not only learn your instrument but grow in having a full knowledge of understanding of music.

This artist did an excellent job. We hired him for a family brunch and he played a variety of different songs. Everybody loved his style and music. He was also very good with the children. If you want an overall great experience… Hire him.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Solo performances start at $75.00 per hour with travel cost added if more than 30 minutes from Pittsburgh. Music Lessons start at $30.00 per hour.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Yes. Music is a lifelong endeavor as a professional. You never stop learning and never stop growing and developing. Nowadays there are so many avenues available for continuing education and development. The internet is a wonderful resource of videos, forums and how to music sites. There are also so many songs (especially the classics) that teach you about music.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

It all started with my late dad Dr Stanley Lowe who had a DA (Doctorate of the Arts). I always loved to sing from a child and as I grew older he tutored me in voice and later guitar. Bass guitar was the instrument I initially wanted to learn which I did later on. My father encouraged me to major in music education even though I was only interested in being a performing artist. I spent approximately 12 years learning the techniques of teaching under the tutelage of my father during my early years of life. He had a succesful music and voice teaching business for over 40 years. Years later while living in Africa I started teaching at the request of others and found that I loved doing it.
