Ahveeky performed at my mother's 70th surprise birthday luncheon. The guests enjoyed the music emensely; he put a jazzy swing to some classic soul music. Sixty of my mother's closet family members and friends were entertained the whole time. A must-have singing talent for any occasion! He comes highly favored and recommended.Jul 11, 2017Verified

I am currently one of Mr Lowe students. Mr Lowe is a great music teacher. He not only knows a variety of music from different genres he knows a lot of music theory that goes behind it. His teaching style is very adaptive, forward thinking, and relatable. For example,If you are struggling with a particular song or a section of a song, he will break that song down and see where the problem is. If it's the technique you will work on that if its you not grasping a not or the process you will work on it until you get it right. He's a great teacher in he doesn't want you developing bad habits that will prevent you from moving on to the next level. He also not only talks about how but the why he wants you to learn certain techniques. Mr Lowe is also a wonderful teacher because he eventually wants you to develop your own style wants you learn the foundation of your instrument first. I would recommend Mr Lowe to anybody of any age who wants to not only learn your instrument but grow in having a full knowledge of understanding of music.Feb 15, 2016Verified
Clifford Lowe has performed well for the Penn Hills community. Clifford , "Ahveekhy" has performed for the Penn Hills Coffeehouse, community funds raisers, and similar events and has provided our audiences with a refreshing cultural experience delivered through a warm welcoming voice and wonderful original songs. If you get a chance to book him for your event or see him perform jump on the opportunity.Mar 4, 2015

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Solo performances start at $75.00 per hour with travel cost added if more than 30 minutes from Pittsburgh. Music Lessons start at $30.00 per hour.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes. Music is a lifelong endeavor as a professional. You never stop learning and never stop growing and developing. Nowadays there are so many avenues available for continuing education and development. The internet is a wonderful resource of videos, forums and how to music sites. There are also so many songs (especially the classics) that teach you about music.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?It all started with my late dad Dr Stanley Lowe who had a DA (Doctorate of the Arts). I always loved to sing from a child and as I grew older he tutored me in voice and later guitar. Bass guitar was the instrument I initially wanted to learn which I did later on. My father encouraged me to major in music education even though I was only interested in being a performing artist. I spent approximately 12 years learning the techniques of teaching under the tutelage of my father during my early years of life. He had a succesful music and voice teaching business for over 40 years. Years later while living in Africa I started teaching at the request of others and found that I loved doing it.
