Leo was very professional in his approach. His quote was not the highest or the lowest, but based on his knowledge and experience was very comfortable in awarding this contract. It turned out good. He started work on time and finished in two days. His entire crew was very professional and took extra care in cleanup after completion of the work. Through the process Leo explained the steps and products that were being used. Overall am happy with the quality of work and will definitely call Leo for other jobs.
We had Ernest conduct an inspection and cleaning of our fire place / chimney. We are first time customers. He was very professional and courteous. He communicated well before and during the work. We knew what to expect and he did not try to "sell us" any additional services we did not need. The actual cleaning of the chimney was excellent with no issues or concerns with his performance. It had been a few years since we had the chimney cleaned so we knew it was going to be a messy chore. He did a great job and we will have him back next year!
Great experience, they worked fast to test for source(s) of my issue, half of lights/outlets on circuit did not work. They were able to trace down issue sources and correct. Recommended helpful options for better protection from electrical issues in the future.
I found working with Charles to be a very pleasant experience. He definitely puts the customer first. He showed up on time every time. He was organized, didn’t rush and cared about my house as though it were his own, being careful to protect the hardwood floors in the work area. When he was finished he cleaned up after himself and left no trace that he had been here other than the excellent work he left behind. Charles framed out and trimmed a closet opening to accept two French-style doors. He is the fourth person to install trim in my house in the last 4 years and only his miter joints are flawless! I won’t be using any wood filler or caulking to fill in gaps on his trim work! I found his estimate to be reasonable and just about what I was expecting to pay. He had ideas of his own, but I never felt as though he didn’t respect mine. He’s got an Old School work ethic. He was focused on his work and didn’t spend all day on his phone. So, if you’re scared away by those 1-star reviews complaining of communication problems, I say don’t be. Those people didn’t hire him and they’re worse off because of it. Give him a try. You’ll be glad you did.
The upper part of backyard had been neglected about 10 years. a maple cut then had brown into 5 trees making too much shade and a danger for electric wires. Eric worked with a good young arborist on the weekend for no extra charge and a very reasonable price. They took precautions to protect a young plant close by and worked efficiently. On Monday he came back with his crew and cleaned the whole backyard and howled the trees to the smallest debris. They even did a thorough leaves cleanup. I was amazed to see how well and fast they worked. Eric was so pleasant, listened, communicated so well that I hired them to clean our basement.
Andrew is great, quick to respond and completes the job to satisfaction. I will fire him again in the future. Josh - Small Business Owner
The job I hired out was hanging and finishing ~2100 sqft of drywall. Walls in 4 rooms and 900 sqft of ceilings. I was not present for 90% of the work - I left a key outside for them to get in and out while I was at work. All in all, John seemed like a good guy, he wanted to make sure I was satisfied with his work, and I am glad I gave the job to him. Timeliness: 5/5 John gave me a quote on a Tuesday and hung 98 sheets of drywall that Saturday. He does not do the finishing himself, but the crew that did the finishing also finished in 5 days. We needed it done quickly so we could move in, so this was critical, and we were very happy with the speed. Hanging Quality: 4/5 Overall, the hanging looked good. From my perspective, he quoted 2 days and finished in 1. If he would have slowed down and taken his time, he could have avoided a few minor things like: -Marking access panel to plumbing so it does not hit studs on both sides. -Bending drywall around an uneven stud instead of having me make a shim. Finishing Quality: 2/5 I was disappointed with the finishing crew. They spent a lot of time criticizing the rest of the drywall work in the house done by the previous owners, but theirs was not much better! They knew we wanted to protect our carpet and floors, and we spent hours covering the floors in plastic and taping it down. I came in after the first day to see the plastic pulled away from the wall in multiple places and huge globs of joint compound dropped directly onto the carpet. They also forced us to get 5.5" baseboards, because they were too lazy to fill in screws near the bottom of the sheets. They also did not sand down joints at the bottom - there are large buildups of compound ~3-4" up from the floor that I will have to sand before putting baseboards in. They charged an extra $500 to do flat ceilings vs. textured, and there were many pitted areas and gouges in those ceilings. They said they would come back and patch those, so I marked several. About half of those turned out, but the other half look the same as before. At that point, we just wanted to start living here, so I gave up on them. Price: 4/5 John quoted me for $4500 total for the 2100 sqft job. $2.15/sqft was higher than I had heard I should expect, but I did not have time to shop around. His quote ended up being pretty close, but he did not factor in that I was responsible for disposal of all waste (Additional $180 and 2 hrs of labor on my end). I also didn't know I was responsible for the 3 cubic yards of scrap disposal until the end. He moved it into the yard for me, but it was a surprise that I had to take care of it from there.
Initially contacted Janet @ OCD for an emergency clean as family were coming in unexpectedly. She was able to fit me in the very next day and cleaned for 3 hours. She and her team were so professional that I decided to hire them for a detail cleaning twice a month. Janet sends you a text alert upon arriving and leaving your home which I love. She is extremely responsive to any questions you may have. My house smells wonderful when I come home and is cleaned from top to bottom (and I am very fussy). Janet is very protective of your home and ensures all entries are secured before her team leaves. I am very pleased with their performance thus far and enthusiastically recommend OCD cleaning. Joe and his crew did a great job on our outdoor patio, bar, and fire pit.
Travis and his crew did a super job helping us get our house in tip top shape for resale. Along with some siding and flashing repair/replacement, Travis also replaced an interior door, installed gutter protection, and painted our laundry room floor and walls. Rates were extremely competitive and work was done on time with thorough clean up. I'll definitely use Tri-Capital again in our new home.
Bill Buchanan Services replaced my front porch, added a new side porch as an extension of my front porch, as well as ârehabbingâ my front walk and side patio â the work he and his crew did was excellent and adds great value to my home. The quality of the work done is such that I will use Bill Buchanan Services for further work that needs to be done on my home. What impressed me most, about this particular job, was that it involved the demolition of my front porch (which also functions as part of my garage roof). Underneath this floor/roof runs my main water and gas lines into my house. Mr. Buchanan knew that any damage done to these two pipes would be his responsibility to fix, and had plans in place were that to occur. Despite the risk Buchanan Services was willing to place a bid on this work; one company declined to bid as it was âtoo riskyâ. Buchanan Services took the necessary time and care that insured that there was no damage done. If you choose to have Bill Buchanan Services work on your project I will advise you of one thing in particular: For legitimate reasons Mr. Buchanan will only accept payment for his services in cash; which cash you should have on-hand when he begins the work (a factor for which I was not prepared). The job he did for me involved two steps â the demolition of the porch and then itâs reconstruction; both steps listed in his written bid, and each step clearly priced. What was not clear, when he began the work, was that he expected to be paid at the completion of each step. If you decide to hire Bill Buchanan Services then talk with him specifically about when he expects you to pay for each (potential) step in the project. Had I known this, before the work began, it would have saved me the time and energy to make sure that I had the money on hand when needed. Overall I highly recommend Bill Buchanan Services, and am glad that he did the needed work on my house!
I would highly recommend Laffey Carpentry for numerous reasons. They were on time, professional at all times, " the pricing was right" and the finished product was absolutley marvelous. I still to this day look our our remodeled fire place and think I am so glad we decided to use Laffey Carpentry.
My experience was excellent. He was very thourough in explaining all the steps in my addition. I was very comfortable with all the decisions that he made as a contractor as far as having my finincial needs as his best interest, and wasn't just there to make a buck. Was always on Time and when they said they were going to do something they did. Also another thing that I think is very important in a contractor is cleanliness of a job site, and I have used him a lot and they always take the steps necessary to protect your home and stay organized and clean.
I bought a house that pool was never winterize..i honestly thought it was a lost cause,,, Pristine Pools did a amazing job!!! When I saw my pool I literally cried!!! The are honest, affordable and amazing!!
Jesse did our pole building roof and it is beautiful. They were on time and did a great job.
Brian and his crew did an excellent job painting and wallpapering our dining room. The room has a lot of trim, so it was not an easy task. They were very diligent with their prep work and sealed the room off properly so there was minimal dust in the rest of the house. They protected the floor from the front door to the work space. While here, he also added quarter round to the room and replaced the light fixture. Brian and his employees are professional and I will be using them in the future for other projects around the house. thanks guys!
He was very professional and offered us a very competive price. Taped everything off really well to protect the surroundings. Did a great job and well reuse this company. I have recommended them to many of my neighbors for there jobs around the house!!!
