Very good job.Oct 22, 2016Verified
Having hired Mr. Freed for a house painting job after reading the reviews on this website, we were genuinely surprised by the performance. While Bill is friendly, we had several major concerns. First, on both days, he and his co-worker (Chuck) showed up late. The first time they were about an hour late and the second time three hours late. In both instances, Bill attributed to different personal emergencies. Second, they took multiple smoking breaks, and Bill was often on the phone. This would be a less concern if they were charging by the job, but they were charging by the day. In all, we paid about $810 for painting four rooms. Finally, and most important, the quality of their work was poor. To be fair, Chuck (the other worker) did the more work and he did a better job overall. However, the parts of the house that was painted by Bill was unacceptable. In one room, parts of the old paint and trim were not painted at all. There were multiple paint smears on the ceiling even after he tried to rectify. At the end, we had to repaint part of that job. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.Feb 6, 2016VerifiedBill F.'s reply
We don't have a Chuck nor know who this is. I think its a mix up as not a customer of ours.

So sorry we could not connect on doing this job for you or offering a bid. I did text you Friday and called twice and called again twice on Saturday. I'd be happy to help if needed, and am sorry again about the phone tag, as we do great fence work but I'm sorry we just did not connect here and have a chance to help do your job. I hope it all goes well.
