Introduction: Hello! I'm Jason! We offer support on smart devices, electronics, computers and networking for personal, home and small business use. We have knowledge, experience and understanding of today's network-based automation, digital assistants, cameras and security products, as well as select mobile-based offerings of the same. We also offer expert handyperson services. A bit of background: We pride ourselves on knowledge, understanding, gaining insight and problem-solving -- and we've been doing it in a wide variety of areas of technology and their applications most of our lives! From our early pre-teen days with our first computers -- including a already-obsolete Tandy TRS-80 at age 9, upon which one learned BASIC programming language; to a bargain-bin Packard Bell with Windows and an internal modem to connect to the Internet; to our first hand-built tower set ups and the first smartphones -- in the modern era, we've seen it all! We have experience ranging from teenage and working at a start-up local internet provider, becoming familiar with how the backend of networking is set-up and physically maintained, as well as an introduction to network client software troubleshooting and basic HTML, to after school working on line crews wiring and installing telecommunications systems and software. You'll be hard-pressed to find a wider range of experience to solve your issue! For many years, as tech enthusiasts, we've offered freelance tech support and services of all kinds, like computer set up, network installation and troubleshooting, including with some of the earliest smart-devices that were peripherals. From those early days and experiences when home and personal computing were the center-point in tech, to today where technology develops even faster and in new and even virtual formats, we've managed to keep informed of major shifts as technologists. And I'm glad to say we still have capability and a certain knack for set-up and problem-solving with computing and electronic devices. Additionally, a variety of trainings.-- in residential interior design and experience in projects and contracting -- gives us a certain eye and understanding when it comes to space planning, installation and set up of household and home/small office equipment, so it's easier to use, maintain, appreciate and enjoy. This means we have general understanding of residential construction, for placement and installation work. We also have training and experience in designing for accessibility and accommodation in residential environments, familiar with universal design as it pertains to people who are seniors, elders and/or disabled, and how their needs may require adjustment to placement and installation of residential equipment and electronics. Lately, we've also taken an interest in how residential design can and should incorporate home security and monitoring, automation, and digital assistants -- the "smart devices" -- to make the home environment not just connected to the internet, but engaging the world, offering convenience and accommodation tailored to the household, and making the home (as a design concept) more responsive than ever. We enjoy focusing on helping older and disabled folks a focus as a result, but in truth, we really like helping anyone when it comes to tech issues of any kind.
