The service was top notch work. Before searching for the quote, I had bad experience with other roofing contractor several years ago. Hence, I had a hard time, trusting the bids I was asking for. Until I found Frank Maxwell and Robin through this website, Frank came out next day to give the quote for new bigger deck and siding..... A real big project in my book. The quote was average...not the cheapest. AND IT IS WORTH! Frank, Robin, and Jeff did the marvelous work. They built real throughly and carefully. A beautiful siding..... Can't express how great deck looks. What's more, they made sure that my deck is well regulated by the city requirement. Robin always kept me up to the date with the work underway. If you are looking for the quotes, stop here... Don't go further. Give them a call. You won't regret!

Andrew installed a 10x10 sectional insulated door on an atypical application in my garage. He was very professional, courtious, efficient and affordable...unlike the bigger names! He even got me a better price from supplier on a leftover door from a cancelled order. On time for both appointment and install and cannot be more satisfied with the work. Will use again and highly recommend. I have used a few contractors building my house and he is a refreshing change!

Jason has been fantastic to work with. He came out to give us a bid and on the spot fixed a small issue we were having. This and the price regarding further renovations cemented our decision to use his services. So far he has uninstalled our previous contractor's sloppy work, helped us reimagine our kitchen, and has been following through in a timely and professional manner. He provides us with options at every step of the way, but based on his work, we trust him to do whatever he thinks is right because "the proof is in the pudding." We could not be happier that we found Jason to help us perfect our first home.

Leo was awesome. Ordered a bed which came un-assembled. And when I say un-assembled, I mean the bed arrived in a box with a bunch of wood and hardware - it was like someone took a puzzle, dumped it in a box and mailed it to me. When I opened it I freaked! There was no way I was going to even try to tackle this. I kept putting it off and putting it off because I didn't want to deal with putting that thing together. Needless to say I am not mechanically inclined, nor do I claim or care to be. I advertised the project online and Leo responded with the fairest price for the job AND was the most professional person to respond. After the project was finished, in record time and completely perfect I might add, we asked him if he would be interested in completing other projects in our home - we have so many things that need fixed, repaired, installed etc. Bathroom, bedroom, kitchen - you name it. My father is in poor health lately and, although very mechanically inclined, is unable to fix, repair and install things like he used to. Therefore, a lot of things are in disrepair and there exists a lot of uncompleted projects. We decided that we could really use a guy like Leo. We asked him about painting a few rooms. He gave us a fair estimate and we know, if he continues to work for us, will produce nothing but the best! He actually just called to make sure that we receive his estimate. I spoke with him and, again, he is very professional, and he made sure he followed-up with a formal estimate for the painting job we had asked about in a timely fashion. I am glad he called, because, although I kept thinking, "I need to leave Leo a review," I kept being interrupted by other things. So, to sum it up, if you need a professional handyman/jack-of-all-trades, able to fix, install, repair, etc. (and don't be afraid to ask him if he is willing or able to do a certain project - he is forthright and capable, with big jobs or small), don't just consider Leo, HIRE him already, for goodness sake! PS: My father is about the pickiest person ever created and EVEN HE WAS SATISFIED with Leo and his work...how about that?

RV was very professional. He quoted the price upfront and explained the work that would be covered. RV was efficient and cleaned up his work area before leaving. I am already planning on hiring him to complete additional work for me. I would highly recommend him for any home repair jobs.

While in the midst of our Kitchen remodel we had difficulty meeting and hiring contractors. Luckily I met John who came in and from the start he was upfront on his level of expertise and was reliable and diligent about the quality of work he did. He listened to our needs and wants, gave his professional opinion and got the job done in the time frame and price stated. He even came to finish the job while preparing for a major move across country to ensure our kitchen was completed. A true professional...very creative, honest, reasonably priced, hard working and now I can also call him a friend! I have never been able to say that about any contractor I have EVER hired!! Do yourself a favor HIRE JOHN!!!! You will be very glad you did and you"ll love his work. Chris Stachnick Ft. Lauderdale FL.

Mike, from M & M Maintenance is truly amazing! He responded almost immediately and was so easy to work with. He was willing to work with my schedule and he arrived promptly. We had just moved into a new home and we were having plumbing issues. Mike did the needed repairs and saved me money in the process. Since he is licensed to do so many things, we will surely be having him back in the future to do any needed repairs, No need to look anywhere else. Thank you, Thumbtack and Mike!

Joe did an excellent job for me in repairing an attic ladder. It was a challenging job that several contractors had turned down or were very expensive. Joe did research on the parts and best way to repair - I really appreciated that. Great customer service, professional. I would definitely use It's a Breeze Contracting again and refer my friends. The job I hired out was hanging and finishing ~2100 sqft of drywall. Walls in 4 rooms and 900 sqft of ceilings. I was not present for 90% of the work - I left a key outside for them to get in and out while I was at work. All in all, John seemed like a good guy, he wanted to make sure I was satisfied with his work, and I am glad I gave the job to him. Timeliness: 5/5 John gave me a quote on a Tuesday and hung 98 sheets of drywall that Saturday. He does not do the finishing himself, but the crew that did the finishing also finished in 5 days. We needed it done quickly so we could move in, so this was critical, and we were very happy with the speed. Hanging Quality: 4/5 Overall, the hanging looked good. From my perspective, he quoted 2 days and finished in 1. If he would have slowed down and taken his time, he could have avoided a few minor things like: -Marking access panel to plumbing so it does not hit studs on both sides. -Bending drywall around an uneven stud instead of having me make a shim. Finishing Quality: 2/5 I was disappointed with the finishing crew. They spent a lot of time criticizing the rest of the drywall work in the house done by the previous owners, but theirs was not much better! They knew we wanted to protect our carpet and floors, and we spent hours covering the floors in plastic and taping it down. I came in after the first day to see the plastic pulled away from the wall in multiple places and huge globs of joint compound dropped directly onto the carpet. They also forced us to get 5.5" baseboards, because they were too lazy to fill in screws near the bottom of the sheets. They also did not sand down joints at the bottom - there are large buildups of compound ~3-4" up from the floor that I will have to sand before putting baseboards in. They charged an extra $500 to do flat ceilings vs. textured, and there were many pitted areas and gouges in those ceilings. They said they would come back and patch those, so I marked several. About half of those turned out, but the other half look the same as before. At that point, we just wanted to start living here, so I gave up on them. Price: 4/5 John quoted me for $4500 total for the 2100 sqft job. $2.15/sqft was higher than I had heard I should expect, but I did not have time to shop around. His quote ended up being pretty close, but he did not factor in that I was responsible for disposal of all waste (Additional $180 and 2 hrs of labor on my end). I also didn't know I was responsible for the 3 cubic yards of scrap disposal until the end. He moved it into the yard for me, but it was a surprise that I had to take care of it from there.

Bishop Contracting I found to be opposite the usual experience found with many of today's contractors. He came when he said he would come. He did the work he said he would do. He completed the job in the time frame agreed. He had the tools, equipment and materials necessary to do the job the 1st time around. He charged what he said he would charge. If you are looking for slick brochures, fancy web sites or IPAD presentations look elsewhere. If you are looking to get a job done call Bishop Contracting.

Sergey did a great job in our bathroom. He is responsive and detail oriented and his price was fair and competitive. He showed up on time and when he said he was going to. That is a quality that is hard to find in some contractors these days.

Ron has done ALL my home and office modeling for the last 25 years. The bigger projects have included two total kitchen makeovers, a custom home office addition, 3 decks, and the complete conversion of a residential building into a commercial property. Ron is skilled, economical, diligent, and a true pleasure to work with. Some of the projects have required an architect. There has never been an issue with building as designed or in meeting all township codes or inspections. Though not requested, I am totally comfortable including my phone number as a reference. John is a one man wonder! He is the man that comes to your house, does your measurements, quotes your price and does the work. He works faster than other contractors I've had that have 2-3 men on site. He has done quite a few smaller projects for me. Replaced a few windows, expanded and opened up a closet at the bottom of my stairs, replaced my entire staircase with a pre made set from Salem mill work, and re did quite a bit of my upstairs full bathroom. He is currently closing in my small back porch to make a mud room. His work is outstanding, his prices are good and he is honest. He won't tell you that you need something if you don't!! And for a single mom, that's really important! I could go on and on... highly recommended.
