Working with Aimee was incredible! She helped make the daunting task of writing college essays so enjoyable. She is so passionate about helping her students and she continued to support me even after I finished writing my essays. What sets Aimee apart is that she looked at my essays from all sorts of angles and helped me develop my own "voice" in the paper. While some tutors might just tell a student to scrap an essay and start over, Aimee gave me room to develop my writing skills and try to rework the topic into an overall better essay with a style of my own. I can honestly say that I could not have written a better paper without her input and help. Aimee is truly one of the best tutors I have ever had.

About

I offer Math secondary tutoring. I am a passionate, enthusiastic and energetic teacher of mathematics. My primary motivation in teaching mathematics is to foster in students an investigative and enquiring mind, an appreciation of logic and an understanding of how mathematics is interwoven into all facets of life. I want to work in a learning environment that will allow me the opportunity to promote numeracy across the school. I work well within a team as well as on my own. I thrive under pressure and I am able to work to set timescales. I believe that I have an innate ability to relate to a wide cross section of people. I am looking forward to fostering relationships with teaching practitioners, support staff, parents, carers and students

Natalie tutors my son Daniel 2 days a week in my home. Daniel really responds to her instruction. He is excited for his "home teacher" to come over, and loves working with her on homework, etc. Natalie is very flexible with our schedule, and provides fun and instructional materials from the library. Pricing is also very fair. I would recommend Natalie to anyone to help their child succeed in school!

I learned my Spanish through immersion. I learned it in more than one country and with people from a variety of countries. This experience gives me a broad, deep knowledge of the language. It has been a part of my life for almost 30 years. My passion for the language makes me a very enthusiastic teacher.

I also tutor students who are preparing to take the SATs. All sessions are an hour in length, and most students choose to meet weekly. Meetings take place at the local community public libraries. I also Skype and FaceTime with students. My rates range from $35 to $45 per hour, depending upon the location and the number of sessions needed to reach success.
