- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I range from 45- to 50.00 dollars an Hour. While I do teach Voice lessons I am a Vocal Coach so we do work a lot more than just learning a Song. I aspire to help individuals find their Voices in technique, artistry, and emotionally.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Sing and Relax is a very different kind of Vocal Studio. Because we cater to so many cultures and needs, we are very relaxed, and open minded. Everyone: is welcome here as long as they respect their peers. The first session is all about getting started. We do a consultation, and set goals and get to know each other. Because we are so personalized, I need to get to know you to help you. Then from session 2 if I think I can help. We do this: 60 Minute Session: 1. Breathe, Alexander technique, ROYGBIV breathing Styles and Bel canto where applicable. Warms ups. Piano adnd rep sight reading. Learning how to read Music is something almost everyone does here and often, turns it into a partime job and performance opportunity. part 3. Run throughs and learning the Music. Vocal Coachings 1.5 - to 3 hours are for serious Musicians looking to have an intense but relaxed session. Yes you can mix the two :) in these we hit: Music anyalisis, TMJ and individuals who have physical tension that need released. Professionals who have full roles to prep. National and International Audition and Call back prep. Piano for Singers Foreign Language anyalisis and interpetation for Opera Singers Music theory sight reading traditional and ROYGBIV JMV Reading Music in colors. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 5 years of International Vocal Coaching Experience, 13 years of singing and Piano Performance experience World Wide. I have a MM from Duquesne University, and BBA from West Virginia University. A Certificate of CCM Pop Styles, and training from NYU'S Vocal pedagogy School for Musicians. I am also: CCM Certified NATS Affilate a Thumbtack Gold Members # 1 2016 Gold Level Takelessons ADV A Vocal Coach for Reverb and: a Member of the MTNA.
