Marty is very easy to work with and a professional who is proficient at his craft. He makes you feel comfortable and takes the extra time to ensure the end product is just right. I will return to do additional recordings. Thanks Marty!!

Since I knew I couldn't sing a song at my son's wedding in person because I would cry in the middle of it, I decided to record one. Having never done this before and not knowing very much about music or recording, I was very nervous. Marty was able to get me to relax, explaining everything in simple terms. I was only able to find a sound track that I wasn't crazy about, so Marty pieced together parts of another track seamlessly that sounded so much better. He even added music just by listening in order to make a smooth transition within the track. He had an ear to be able to hear what was off and fixed all the rough edges. He let me record as many times as I felt I needed and then edited to make corrections such as when I came in too late and when my singing key was off. He was amazing. I ended up with a song that I couldn't believe was me. When it was played at the wedding, my son had to listen for awhile before he realized it was my voice. It was a big hit. This special gift to my son and his new wife would not have been possible without Marty. Friends and family have not stopped talking about the song. Thanks, Marty!!!

Marty was very flexible, accompanied, and worked well with my voice teacher who was present to help ensure that the audition demo was as good as possible. It was well worth the drive to get there.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

i have been in music my whole life, and always will be.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

make sure you find a real recording studio, if you are looking for one. A lot of guys with a PC, a microphone and a pair of speakers are calling themselves "studios". You will find out they are cheap and they probably sound cheap.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

the massive amounts of time and money required to keep a studio functioning in top shape. Tons of computer programs require tons of updates and maintenance, and good equipment needs to be maintained as well.
