Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I believe that it is important to look at an individual as a whole, that is, to address the person Wholistically. Therefore, I work on issues of the Mind, Body, and Spirit. When an individual is able to bring all parts of self into balance, healing and recovery begins to take place. The most rewarding aspect of my job is watching an individual come to the point where he or she begins the healing process. It's the point where the "aha" or "lightbulb" moment goes off and they start to accept and understand who SELF is. It's wonderful!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, it is mandatory to complete 30 hours of continuing education credits every two years with three hours of those credits in Ethics. Since my focus of therapy is generally in the trauma realm, I like to try and make half of those continuing education credits pertaining to trauma based therapy.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started doing therapy at a very young age! People always seemed to come to me for advice and direction. When I finally made a decision to return to College I knew exactly what I was going to study and enrolled in courses immediately. It seemed quite natural to obtain my degree in Clinical Psychology on a Master's level. It seemed to be a perfect fit.
