The Matt Santry Band was great! They had our guests out on the dance floor the ENTIRE night... it was packed! I've never been to a wedding where so many people were dancing. The band was upbeat and fun and Matt Santry was a great emcee to get our crowd going! Matt himself responded in such a timely manner and was always quick to help us navigate the wedding planning process. We had a lot of questions and very specific requests for what we wanted to hear, and Matt went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. We have already had guests and other vendors ask questions about Matt and the band and how to contact them for their own events. Huge hit and would definitely recommend to anyone else looking for a fun wedding band!

Testimonial for David Joel, Guitar Instructor: My name is Ken and I have been playing guitar for 43 years since the age of 12. I took lessons for about 2 years at the very beginning. I never learned how to read music in the traditional sense, just tab. I have played in classic rock bands over the years. Several years ago I reached a point in my playing that I felt I could not get any better and was playing the same music, leads over and over again. I was convinced that all I could learn was what I could hear or was shown by other musicians. I knew I developed bad technique habits over the years as well. I wanted to get better and began looking for an instructor on-line and found David Joel. A brief review of Davidâs web-site indicated he was well-versed in all styles on electric, acoustic and classical guitar. The backbone of Davidâs approach is based on the Berklee Series Modern Method books by William Leavitt. It requires the guitarist to read and play musicâ¦something I never did and as it turns out contributed to my âilliteracyâ or lack of language or âdataâ as David refers to music. In the 2 ½ years that I studied with David he completely changed my technique, increased my potential to play a variety of styles and improvise and helped me to achieve many of my goals as a player. He is amazingly encouraging and very real when it comes to students of all ages. I currently enjoy playing in a number of classic rock bands and praise band at church. Thanks David!
Mark Weisman has been my son's piano teacher since he was 11 years old. Alex is now a proficient pianist at age 21. Under the tutelage of Mark, my son advanced from a music student to a true musician. Mark is an engaging teacher who introduces his students to a variety of music genres, keeping classical, standards and popular music all part of the student's repertoire. My son Alex's interest in music was spurred on by Mark's enthusiasm and style of teaching. The Music Workshop conducts annual performances for parents and friends so we can see the progress our children have made. My son is now in college and still studies with Mark on breaks and in the summer. Alex belongs to The Jazz Band at Loyola University as well as his own band. He has played professionally for cocktail hours and theater productions. Mark has inspired Alex to continue his music into his adulthood. Mark Weisman is an exemplary teacher and person.

This band is a Band for Everyone and Every Occasion. Awesome talent, huge variety of music and a fun upbeat time!
Ron Sunshine performed at my wedding on Long Island. To this day (19 years later!), people will still announce that it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended and always mention the "great band". Ron was a pleasure to work with, straight forward on all fronts, no surprises. The band was a group of professionals from New York with stellar credits. I highly recommend Ron Sunshine for any event. The material was first rate, danceable, and spanned decades (a little something for everyone).
Sat in with the band at my daughter's wedding and hit it out of the park! Great musician, great guy.
We hired the band to play at our neighborhood block party and they were awesome! Music was enjoyed by all, from young children to senior citizens. They played a great very variety of music including Jazz standards and popular tunes. They were very professional, played as scheduled and at just the right volume.
This group is amazing. The music is intricate, and upbeat. The music weaves back and forth between each musician. You would never guess that the band leader is young by watching his professionalism. Their love for jazz is so apparent not only in the talent expressed in the music but it is a pleasure to watch them perform.
What makes my service stand out is a 100 percent commitment to making you learn the guitar. There are many facets to successfully mastering the guitar, but knowning how and when to approach each step varies person to person. I will identify exactly what you want to learn (songs, artists, techniques, scales, theory) and work with you on a personal lesson plan.
