The Wedding Photographers Guild

Introduction: Currently, The Wedding Photographers Guild is made up of four photographers. All of us have 10 to 20 years of experience photographing weddings. Three of us have a 4-year art degree in photography. We all use professional equipment and bring plenty of backup gear. Also, photography is not just a little hobby we use to make money on the weekends. Two of us do it full time and the other two make a substantial part of their income from photography. All four of us routinely cover weddings with photography budgets from $2,500.00 to $6,000.00. The Photographer Guild was started to fill in those dates when we are not covering large events. We realize that not everyone has the budget to spend $3,000.00 on wedding photography. Also, all four of have been hearing horror stories from brides, churches, and reception halls about the conduct and skills of low-cost wedding photographers who are just in it to make a few bucks on the weekend. So, we decided to start a site to cater to the budget-minded bride, but at the same time give professional-level wedding photography coverage. You should also know that the majority of the money of your collection goes to the photographer to cover your event, not The Wedding Photographers Guild. As an example, you have probably seen major ads on Google offering low-cost wedding photography. Most of them are paying their photographer $300.00 and they must provide their own equipment.
