- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every couple is different, and that’s exactly how it should be. Your ceremony should reflect your story, your values, and your vision. While I tailor each experience to fit you, here’s a general walkthrough of what working together typically looks like: 1. Initial Consultation We’ll start with a relaxed, no-pressure consultation to get to know each other. This is where you can share your vision, ask questions, and see if I’m the right fit for your day. I’m flexible and can meet however you’re most comfortable: Microsoft Teams FaceTime Zoom Traditional phone call Email (if you prefer to keep things simple!) 2. Booking & Invoice After our consultation, I’ll send over a clear, straightforward invoice outlining everything we discussed. You’re free to accept or decline, no pressure. Once accepted, your date is officially reserved. 3. Ceremony Planning Questionnaire Next, you’ll receive a detailed (but easy-to-complete) Google Forms questionnaire. This is where the magic starts You can share as much or as little as you’d like, including: Your story as a couple Tone of the ceremony (romantic, lighthearted, traditional, etc.) Personal touches, readings, or cultural/religious elements Prefer something simple and not personalized? That’s absolutely an option too. 4. Follow-Up & Collaboration After reviewing your responses, I may reach out with a few follow-up questions via email or text to make sure everything feels just right. This step helps ensure your ceremony feels authentic, natural, and truly “you.” 5. Marriage License Guidance I’ll walk you through how to obtain your marriage license in Pennsylvania so there are no surprises. You’ll know exactly: Where to go What to bring When to apply (One less thing for you to stress about!) 6. Script Development & Optional Preview I’ll craft your ceremony script based on everything you’ve shared. You can choose your level of involvement: Full preview (review and request edits) Partial preview (just key sections) Total surprise (trust me to deliver on the day!) 7. Ongoing Communication From booking to wedding day, I’m available for questions, updates, or reassurance. Whether it’s a quick text or a last-minute change, I’ve got you covered. 8. Wedding Rehearsal (Optional but Recommended) If you’re having a rehearsal, I’ll be there to help guide the flow of the ceremony. We’ll make sure everyone knows: Where to stand When to walk What to expect This helps everything feel smooth and stress-free on the big day. 9. The Big Day This is it, your moment. I’ll arrive early, connect with your coordinator/venue, and make sure everything is set so you can stay present and enjoy every second. Then, I’ll deliver a ceremony that feels meaningful, engaging, and true to you. 10. After the Wedding My role doesn’t end when the ceremony does. I’ll ensure your marriage license is properly completed and guide you on next steps so everything is legally finalized. I’m also always happy to follow up, send copies of your ceremony script, or just say congratulations one more time! A Few Things Worth Noting: I welcome all couples and celebrate all love I’m happy to accommodate religious, secular, spiritual, or non-traditional ceremonies Last-minute bookings? Reach out, I’ll always try my best!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I became a certified officiant through the American Marriage Ministries website, which provided me with the tools and certification I needed to legally perform weddings. But the certificate is just the beginning! I take my role seriously, so I practice each ceremony for two full weeks beforehand, working on pacing, pronunciation, and delivery to make sure your ceremony flows beautifully. After all, practice makes perfect. The more weddings I perform, the more confident and comfortable I’ve become, which allows me to focus entirely on you and your story, making each ceremony personal, heartfelt, and memorable.
