Jan came to my house. My dogs loved her. I was amazed. She took great care of both of them. Cleaned up so well you couldn't tell she was there. I would highly recommend her to anyone that wants to groom at their house.

I highly recommend Nikki Banfield for dog training; however, I think of her more as a "people trainer". She trains you to train your dog. Be prepared for constructive criticism. She is firm because she is so passionate about dogs. She does individual training first, then group training. She gives you all of the tools you need to have a well-trained dog. If you take the time, and use the tools, you will have that well-trained dog. She also does "group walks" on Saturday mornings. These give your dog the opportunity to learn how to interact properly with other dogs. You are always welcomed on the walks even after you are done with your training, and she continues to make herself available with any problems that may arise down the road. We trained our first Labrador retriever with her 18 years ago and currently use her for the lab we have now. We will continue to recommend her to all of our friends and anyone else who asks us who we used for dog training.

It is with great pleasure that we write a note recommending New Beginnings Dog Training ! We are absolutely delighted with the experience Raffie, our 7 month old Standard Poodle had with Kristy at her home...she did a wonderful job with him. Don't hesitate to call her if you want your dog trained properly ..... showing caring and kindness while getting wonderful results....she's terrific and we highly endorse her work. Raffie had all kinds of experiences while he was living with her to board and train over a two week period; she's the best ! Tom and Sandi....Reading, Pa.

If you are like me, I want to know if Bridget Gallagher is good without a lot of words. In short, my wife and I highly recommend Bridget for any issues you may be having. Even if you are not having issues, it was well worth the time to be taught how to handle your dog and to know what works with them. We had Sully doing more after 4 hours than 6 weeks of obedience classes.` Now for those who would like more info. Here is the longer story: We adopted Sully from a breeder in Maryland. We met Sully and his brothers and sisters at the breeder and fell in love. Sully was a very calm 5 ½ month old puppy that played well with his family and enjoyed our touch. His personality fit in perfectly. Sully came home with us and was an angel in the car. We introduced him to others and took him out to stores with no issues except he was shy. After a couple of weeks, he started barking and growing at anyone who came into the house and out in public. Our son, who is attending college, came home for a week and Sully would bark and growl at him every time he saw him. He never really warmed up to our son. This behavior seemed to be getting worse (nipping started) and we wanted to find someone who could help us. We were told he would be okay after going to obedience training which we were doing. The class taught us to give him treats. That never really did work. He would do the commands but it never helped with the barking and growling. I felt he had either a fear of people, lacked confidence or we were not doing something right. I owed several dogs and never had a problem. I reached out to a lot of trainers and dog behaviorists who said that they could help but I had seen mixed reviews with all of them. Some were using a prong collar and tough love. I just did not get a good feeling. I called my vet for a reference (who never got back to me) and others to no avail. I did some other searches and finally found Bridget. We saw her testimonials on line, talked with her on the phone and found other reviews not associated with her web site. My wife and I finally made a decision and had Bridget come to our house. When she arrived, Sully growled and barked at her when she met him outside. The next 4 hours were simple AMAZING. She explained to us what we had to do and how to do it. It was just SO simple. Bridget has a wealth of knowledge and experience with dogs and how and why they behave as they do. She is so committed to helping and educating you so you are able to work with your dog’s behavior problem. She even went with us to 2 pet stores to see strangers so she could show us how to stop the barking and growing and how to introduce him to strangers. By the end of the 4 hours, we had Sully: • Being introduced to strangers with VERY little barking and almost no growling • Staying in place with NO words – just hand motions and body language • Sat at the door and staying there without rushing outside – waited to be told to go out • No jumping or counter surfing Understanding how the dog thought was fantastic and so very cool. Just amazing what she taught us and what she could have us do that worked right away. The next day my wife and I took him separately on walks that met strangers and our training worked. He barked a little but we stepped in to stop the barking before the growling started. He calmed down and was able to greet the stranger with no issues.

Gwenevere was professional and very affective with teaching our dog to stop acting aggressive to people and dogs he didn't know. He would lunge and bark and pull. It got so bad we stopped having people over. My wife had stopped walking him because his barking and pulling was so obnoxious and embarrassing. Gwenevere even fixed our house breaking issue. He no longer looks out the window and barks at everything he sees. WOW this was well worth the money. We now can have people over we can walk him and we can go back to loving him like we wanted, thanks Gwenevere

We hired Olivia as soon as we saw how she interacted with our border collie; could tell she was the right choice. Olivia proved herself to be trustworthy, enthusiastic, flexible, communicative, and most importantly very caring and dedicated with our border collie! She even did two unforeseen but needed dog visits when our second carer couldn't make the middday walk. She also filled bird feeders, took in the mail, and took time to play with our dog. We will hire her again when we go out of town, and we highly recommend her services!!

Kelly thank you so much, great rate and my dogs and cat being with such a caring person is a relief. You always go above and beyond. Payed you to watch them walk&feed them and you did that plus gave the dogs a bath and brushed there coats was. So shiny and they loved the interaction.

The 7yr old male GSD that my parents and I have attacked me dad. My dad stepped over Grizzley to lock up the front door and Grizzley just I guess snapped, he bit my dad on the arm, leaving a pretty good mark on him. We got Grizzley from an Amish farmer in Lancaster, PA 7 years ago. My dad is disabled so he was with Grizzley everyday. When we got Grizzley, his dad was kept in a pen, the mother dog was running loose. I am thinking maybe the dad was very aggressive, or could have had wolf in him, or the mom and dad could have been siblings and that is why Grizzley is the way he is, because of being inbred. Or, Grizzley was mistreated by the Amish guy and thinks that the Amish guy is my dad. My dad is okay, apart from a bite on his upper arm, and being pissed off about being bit. My dad has had dogs his entire life. Grizzley was bought for me after we had to put our 10yr old Rottweiler down. Grizzley attached himself to my mom and I, more so my mom.
