I was impressed with almost our entire experience with this company. The only frustration we had was that the form for Thumbtack did not specifically ask for the number of stairs and so I gave what I thought was enough information in the notes section, not knowing a number of steps was needed. So when they got to the delivery location the number of stairs was more than they anticipated and wanted to charge another $100. When I explained how frustrating that was, he charged an additional $50 instead. The one star off was due to the fact that I don't like unexpected charges that hold the piano hostage until you pay extra.

I very much enjoyed working with the crew of three; they were professional, courteous, and punctual. There was an unfortunate breakage of one of the legs at the point of origin when tilting it onto the dolly; however, it was not their fault, and they were prepared to fix it at the destination. I received a call an hour ahead of time for the delivery, and they arrived right at the ETA. It took about one hour for them to finish set up, and one of the household wished to finish the repair on his own. Very satisfied.

I had a fantastic experience with David and his team. They were able work closely with my timeline and came on time for both pickup and delivery. They responded promptly to all my questions, and I had a smooth and seamless moving experience with them. My Steinway upright emerged from the experience just as well cared for as before!
