What should I ask a DJ?

Start by asking the DJ what services they offer. If you’re hoping for a light show, fog or other special equipment, it’s important to ask them whether they’re able to provide them and how much they will cost. 

Next, make sure they’re able to play the style of music you’re hoping for, no matter how obscure. Ask them what their style is and how long of a set they can do. 

Finally, ask whether they can provide all of the needed equipment, including the PA system, direct-drive turntables, lighting and stage.
