What is the best waterproof flooring for a basement?

There are several great options for waterproof basement flooring. For example, epoxy floors are waterproof but are thicker and sturdier than paint. Make sure the concrete substrate has been prepared for application. 

Tile is a designer’s dream, giving you a moisture-resistant surface that’s infinitely customizable. Rubber sheets or tiles are also good waterproof options, particularly for playrooms, workout areas or laundry rooms. 

Vinyl tiles and planks imitate wood or other materials very convincingly, provide moisture resistance and last a long time. And sheet vinyl is affordable and a great waterproofing solution for those in need of quick fixes.

Working with Rob has been a fantastic experience. I shopped around and got quotes from many different contractors/companies for adding a MIL suite to my basement and Rob was the clear winner. He was the only one who actively worked with me to realize my idea/vision. Rob brought so much experience, skill, and insight to the project. A true asset when working on an old house that has its quirks. He was punctual and productive each and every day. He was able to stop water from getting into the basement, added a room, stairwell landing, doors to separate the basement from the rest of the house, plumbing for a kitchen, new flooring, and a good amount of electrical reconfiguring. My budget didn't allow for me to completely finish the project but I know that Rob will be the first person I call once I'm ready to do so.

Marco and the GenPro team did a great job remodeling our basement. We had an unfinished basement that we finished with a living room, new bathroom, new bedroom, and laundry room. We were on a tight timeline, but fortunately Marco's team started work only 3 days after we agreed to the bid. As with any major construction project, there were a few hiccups but GenPro not only fixed them, they also covered several of the fixes themselves without charging me additional cost. In particular, I owe Eric - the foreman on our project - extra appreciation. His experience and creativity were very valuable; I can't even count how many opportunities he identified to either improve the work with smart suggestions or to rectify a seemingly difficult issue somewhat easily. Ultimately, everything was top-notch quality and the cost was far more reasonable. My family runs a construction business in a different city and they were amazed at how great the work was for the cost. My one piece of advice is to over-communicate with Marco throughout the project; at first I thought I would be bothering him, but you should know he is very conscientious and wants to deliver results, so don't hesitate to ask for frequent updates and make sure everyone is on the same page. For reference, our basement remodel took ~11 weeks from start to finish.

Ilia and Eduard worked with us to remodel our basement and we could not of been happier with the experience. Ilia was quick to come out and scope the project, give us a quote, and line up the project. Once we started, Eduard and his team did incredible work at an unbelievable speed. He helped us think through layout and paid close attention to detail throughout. The whole project was done within a week and it ended up coming in under budget! We are so happy with the process and results, and we would definitely work with them again in the future!

We had a good experience working with AG. It was a big project, completely finished the unfinished basement and garage in our 1940s home. The team did a great job, they were very thorough and consulted us throughout the process and gave their advice on what would work best for our space. They were super responsive and good communicators, answering all our questions and working with us to make adjustments throughout the process. They also did a great job managing all of the permitting and inspections, which made the process way less stressful for us. We are so happy with the finished result!

We had a very good experience with Axel and Belnap Enterprises. He was responsive and quick to communicate, offered an earlier visit when a spot was available, and proposed several solutions to resolve our problem, ranging from addressing the immediate issue with a pipe repair to a more permanent and holistic fix, involving adding exterior drainage and repairing a driveway to stop the source of the water. His estimate was accurate, and he followed up to make sure the leak was resolved after we had a few rainy days. Solid work gave us both a dry basement and a positive customer experience.

They were amazing from start to finish. Through the bidding process they were better then other companies at explaining problems and solutions. Thorough written bids and professional payment process. Great communication . Went above and beyond and thought about not only current problem but potential future problems and solved those too. Very impressed and look forward to hiring them again for anything foundation related. We had basement water problems that resulted in rotted wood they were able to replace everything and prevent future water problems with an entire corner of our house that was underneath a second story. With a corner foundation problem it felt very important for us to hire a knowledgeable, professional, trustworthy company and they proved to be all of those things.
